Shinaya's POV:
Her attitude was now back to normal, but unfortunately, her university was on and my work also had finished in Quetta, so we had to go back to Lahore tomorrow. I really didn't wanted to leave there as she was getting comfortable and that house really had turned into a home. She turned it into a home., our home.
She had made some changes there. Like, she asked me if there should be some more lights everywhere in the house. In all that time I knew that she didn't like dull colors, especially black color, the vila's theme was black so the light was also kept dim, but she insisted because she didn't like dim lights or black and white houses. specialty whole black one like ours.
I tried to ask her about her dream house, but she didn't utter anything but just she doesn't have any. She was hiding it, still, somewhere she was not comfortable with sharing her thoughts with me. But I'll get over with it too,
"Wassal, can I ask you something?" She asked brushing her hair, looking at my reflection in the mirror.
Finally! She was asking for something from me, I was geared up to do anything it would take to get her that.
"Of course what is it? " I inquired gladly.
"I," she paused. She was sitting on the dressing chair, but then she got up for there and walked closer to me. She sat on the bed, closer to me. "Wassal, promise me that you won't refuse," She asked as if she was a little unsure, if I would fulfill it or not.
I wasn't sure what she would ask for but I was ready to do everything.
"Okay, I won't!" I gave my words.
A radiant smile appeared on he lips and she glowed differently. "Can we go out?" She asked excitedly.
To which I chuckled and laughed at the same time, I was getting ready to climb up K2 but she just asked for a trip. She stared at me in confusion.
"What?" She asked in confusion.
I held my laugh, and replied, "Nothing, you were taking promises from me like you were going to ask for something hard, I, just thought you would ask for some special thing but you just asked for a trip!"
To which she said narrowing her eyes, "It's not my fault if I was that unsure, it's your fault!"
I chuckled and asked," And how's that my fault?"
"Because you always scare me!"
Her revelation made my laugh disappear, and only one idea was left, she was afraid of me...
Her expressions told that she regretted her words but it was a truth that could not be denied.
"I_I didn't mean that Wassal, I_" I cutted her off, "It's okay, Shinaya," I said in a low voice.
I took a pause and then I said, "You don't need to be afraid of me," peeking in her eyes.
"I know, I have scolded you, and, I do have anger issues, but, I never meant to scare you," I explained holding her hands and squeezing them gently.
I knew my anger was not a thing she had ever seen, as she was a mollycoddle of her house, no one ever even yelled at her, but I...I shouted at her, yelled at her, threatened her...I knew it was wrong but I couldn't let anyone hurt her. If I hadn't taken that move at that time consequences might had became worse.
"It was all for your own safety, trust me" I tried to assure her.
She was looking at me with a baffled gaze.
I wanted to tell her everything, everything my heart had buried inside all these years.
"I want to_" I paused. Should I?...
