Wassal's POV:

I had been calling her since morning but she didn't even respond once. Around three o'clock in the afternoon, her mobile was switched off.

It was too much. Last time I was kind of relaxed as I knew she was angry with me, but now? I don't have any guess what's wrong with her. She sounded off last night, but I didn't get to know the reason. I tried onto the household number in the evening.

"Hello," One of the staff picked up. "Where is Shinaya?" I asked directly. "Sir?" She guessed. "Shinaya madam is in her room, Should I call her?" She asked.

"No," I said. "Is she okay? " I inquired in confusion. " I don't know sir, she didn't tell anything," She said, then quickly retorted as she recalled something. "Yes, she didn't have breakfast in the morning, she said she had a headache," she informed.

" Did she take any medications? I asked. "No, she didn't, I asked her but she refused," her information was making me more tense. "Go check on her and tell me," I instructed her and hung up.

What is going on? this question swirled in my mind like a storm. She had to stop this attitude.

After a while, the phone rang again, "Yes," I asked. "Sir she is not opening up," My heart clenched. "I knocked multiple times, but she said-" She stopped middle way. "she said?" I questioned her pause.

I heard her gulp sound from the other side. " She said, that I should tell you that she is fine and doesn't need anyone to babysit her."

...

I couldn't believe it. These words were from her? I felt I was dreaming or something. I quickly pulled myself together. "Anything else?" I inquired, clearing my throat. "No," she answered and I hung up.

Wow! My eyebrows raised in surprise. My relationship is getting stronger. She already knew why was that maid there to ask her. A smirk surrounded my lips as the thought of her angry face came into my mind.

But then again, what happened? Why is she not talking to me? I don't remember anything I didn't tell her or anything about which she could be angry, then what happened? I tried to recall everything but couldn't find any clue.

A knock on the door pulled me out of my thoughts. I permissioned and then Dilawar came in and walked towards my desk. He stood a few meters away from my desk. "Sir it's time for the meeting," he informed me. I totally forgot about that meeting. I have been contacting the material companies in Turkey to have a know-how about them. I gazed at my watch, it was time to leave. "Alright I am coming," I told him and he left.  I stood up from my chair and buttoned up my coat. At least she is fine, I'll sort this matter. I assured myself and headed to the meeting.

.....................................

She didn't respond to my call the whole night. It is really difficult to understand her, in all my married duration, I had concluded this.

In the evening she finally called."Where were you shinaya? why was your phone switched off?" I asked concerned. "Yes I am fine, actually my phone's battery was dead," she said reluctantly. "You should be careful about it! I was so concerned!" I almost yelled. "Yes, "She said after contemplating. "um, I would be, ah I wanted to hang out with my friends, can I just go?" She asked hesitantly.

I just forgot, it almost had been a month, she must have wanted to go for outings.

I held back for a moment, then replied, "Of course, just take guards with you," I uttered. "Alright, thanks," She said and hung up.

What?! Before I could say anything she ended the call.

She called just for permission?... How can a person be so cruel? I know you don't love me but she could show some mercy, at least. Sometimes she just gets so, so....forget it.
