A/n: I apologise in advance for how long this chapter, it's easily the longest chapter in the book, I also apologise for how little Y/n is featured after a while, I didn't know how to cut things out and feature Y/n more (this chapter is almost 8,000 words, I was trying to keep Year 3 under 30 chapters but decided that this was getting too long and cut myself off, the next chapter might be a similar amount of words but, the last chapter for year 3 will hopefully be shorter :D)

Instead of joining the others in visiting Hagrid, Y/n snuck out towards the Forbidden Forest, a small amount of food wrapped up in a cloth and hidden in her jacket pocket, she walked a few paces in, until the entrance was completely hidden from sight before she sat down on a log and coughed.
"It's me." She whispered to the bush beside her log.
Two yellow eyes peeked out from the bush, squinting at her.
She rolled her eyes.
"I solemnly swear, I am up to no good." She hummed as the dog came out from the bush, sitting in front of her, looking very human-like "You know, using the same password for this as you and your buddies did for your stupid map is rather foolish."
The dog growled in response.
"I'm just sayin'" Y/n hummed, glancing around before carefully pulling her wand out, muttering an incantation as she waved it "There's no dementors in the forest, you're good."
The dog barked before turning back into a human.
"I bought food." She hummed, tossing the cloth filled with food to the fugitive.
"Thank-you." Sirius spoke, unwrapping the cloth and quickly eating the food.
"No problem." Y/n smiled, glancing around.
"You find the rat yet?" The criminal asked.
"Nope, no luck, have you?"
"If I had I wouldn't be asking you." The criminal deadpanned
"Right." Y/n spoke a little sheepishly.
"How'd your exams go?" Sirius asked "Did you use the study notes I gave you?"
"Yeah, I think I did pretty good, I mean- I can't say I've passed all of them, since- well- I'm taking more classes than everyone, but I think I've passed most of them." Y/n hummed.
"If you're anything like your father, you have." Sirius assured "And with the amount of studying we'd done if you haven't passed the teachers clearly against you."
Y/n smiled.
"Thanks Sirius." Y/n grinned before pausing and taking something out of her pocket "Uh- I may of mentioned the photo to Cassie... I didn't say why though, and she nicked it from father's office for me, I thought you should have it... since you're in it."
