Y/n didn't know what the topic of the Order meeting was anymore, and she didn't much care. She was much too busy shooting glares towards her older sister from across the room, sat beside her father who kept giving her worried looks.
She wasn't quite certain if the rest of the Order understood why she was there, why Dumbledore made certain exceptions to her being there, but she knew. Dumbledore had claimed it was simply because of her abilities, that her 'gifts' could help them, but seeing as she was quite certain Dumbledore was a Seer too and she knew for a fact he was a Legilimens, and there was never any mentioning of any form of Parseltongue being needed, she knew that really the only reason she was there was to be a weapon. That's all she was to them. Of course, they still used her other abilities, frequently did Dumbledore make her use her abilities as a Seer to look to the future and tell them (or rather him) what she saw- though of course, the ability of foresight could only do so much, and unless the visions came naturally, they weren't really quite so... clear- often would Dumbledore get her to use her Legilimency to attempt to go into the mind of Death Eaters or Ministry officials so they'd have insight as to what was happening- not that it worked very well- but even so, Y/n knew very well, that the only reason she was sat in this meeting, was because of the abilities she'd inherited from her Grandmother, after all, whilst her Grandmother still had them, a younger person with the powers is much easier to control, and has far more energy- or at least they were supposed to.
She didn't miss the worried looks the adult members of the Order gave her, the whispers about her after every meeting, the very distinct confusion at the reason she was there. It gave her hope, at least, that some of these adults found it just as immoral as she did that she was there.
She likely wouldn't be there today at all, she'd decided to herself, she would've skipped the meeting and felt no guilt at all... had it not have been for the person they'd just brought to Grimmauld place.
Y/n finally found freedom from this meeting when she'd heard someone- a very familiar someone- yell. Glancing to Tonks who was sat beside her, she took this as her opportunity to excuse herself, under the guise of 'making sure everyone was okay'.
As she approached the doorway on the second landing, she silently opened the door. Instead of saying anything however, she stopped in place, she didn't know what to say.
"-WHO HAD TO GET PAST DRAGONS AND SPHINXES AND EVERY OTHER FOUL THING LAST YEAR? WHO SAW HIM COME BACK? WHO HAD TO ESCAPE FROM HIM? ME!"
Ron was standing there with his mouth half-open, clearly stunned and at a loss for anything to say, while Hermione looked on the verge of tears.
"BUT WHY SHOULD I KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON? WHY SHOULD ANYONE BOTHER TO TELL ME WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING?"
"Harry, we wanted to tell you, we really did —" Hermione began.
"CAN'T'VE WANTED TO THAT MUCH, CAN YOU, OR YOU'D HAVE SENT ME AN OWL, BUT DUMBLEDORE MADE YOU SWEAR —"
