Y/n, Maia, Fawn and Sable had spent the first two weeks of November subtly gathering the ingredients they'd need for Maia's brilliant idea, Y/n had managed to smuggle four Mandrake leaves out of hers and Fawns herbology class and, on the soonest full moon, they grouped together at nightfall and put the Mandrake leaves under their tongues, beginning the process, Sable had come up with the idea of putting the sticking charm on the Mandrake to lessen the risk of it coming out of place, yet the group also understood it'd still be better for them to refrain from talking too much.
When Harry, Y/n and Hermione arrived at Snape's dungeon after lunch on the 13th of November, they found the Slytherins waiting outside, almost each and every one of them wearing a large badge on the front of his or her robes. For one wild moment Y/n thought they were S.P.E.W. badges — then she saw that they all bore the same message, in luminous red letters that burnt brightly in the dimly lit underground passage:

"Like them, Potter?" said Malfoy loudly as Harry approached.
"And this isn't all they do — look!" He pressed his badge into his chest, and the message upon it vanished, to be replaced by another one, which glowed green:

The Slytherins howled with laughter. Each of them pressed their badges too, until the message POTTER STINKS was shining brightly all-around Harry.
