"Kassia, what are you doing here? No, more importantly- how did you get here?"

"Kassia, what are you doing here? No, more importantly- how did you get here?"

"I caught a flight," she answered simply. "And I thought you'd be happy about seeing me."

"I'm not mad- I'm just surprised I guess... plus, what are you even going to do over here?"

"I like watching you," Kassia smiled, "and I can get on with school work remotely- it'll be nice perfect-"

"Baby, you're telling the truth? Nothing happened?"

Taemin knew Kassia well enough by now. He could see right through her acting like she was fine.

Truthfully he had been worried for a while. She didn't want to talk about Javier. He could tell by how she always changed the topic.

But, Taemin could tell she was anxious. She objected more to him hanging up. She was just clingier but at the same time more distant.

Taemin was just trying to do things on her terms. He knew Kassia hated to be pushed.

"I miss you all the time because, I don't see you everyday anymore," Kassia muttered truthfully kissing him. "Im telling the truth, Tae Bear."

Kassia didn't want to worry him but she just really needed to be next to him right now.

Without talking about anything annoying.
...

"Matcha tea for you, Kassia sweetheart," Gomez smiled gently at the girl. "I got it from the cafe across the street since it's a bit chilly this morning."

"Thank you Mr Gomez," Kassia beamed at the man. The men in the vicinity swooned over her as well finding her smile infectious.

But Taemin was starting to become worried.

This was her second week just sitting in the gym.

Kassia was friendly and the gym goers really liked her. They often told Taemin how lucky he was and to treasure her.

He enjoyed seeing Kassia every day but, this wasn't how she usually acted. To some extent Kassia liked attending classes and college life but now, she was just here remotely doing tasks.

Taemin knew how important UCLA was to her. She had told him many times this was the first time she had been free.

UCLA was going to be Kassia's first achievement without her mother controlling every aspect of it.

Kassia had told Taemin that was all she wanted.

"Taemin, are you sure Kassia is ok," Taemin's coach, Guilherme asked. "I can tell she likes seeing you train but, her being here everyday seems more like something different."

"Has she told you anything?"

Taemin was desperate.

No matter how much he asked Kassia she just wouldn't answer. She kept dodging the question and before he knew it, they were in a make out session.
