"You two are so naughty. Why would you decorate the kitchen with flour?"
Clover and Cosmo smiled widely at their mother like they weren't covered in flour. Their angelic smiles almost made Kassia swoon.
Well... she did but internally.
On the outside she was putting on her angry mom face. Not that the five year olds were fazed. They knew that their parents were softies and they definitely took advantage.
"I'm swory mommy," Clover apologised with her puppy dog eyes. "We wanted cwake."
Well, she wanted cakes. And she convinced Cosmo he wanted cake too.
"Whilst I was napping? I closed my eyes for ten minutes guys!"
Cosmo copied his sister trying to also get off the hook. "It was a swurprise." He smiled a bit unsure. His missing tooth making him even more adorable.
"You two won't get off the hook for being cute. Now you have to help me clean this kitchen, from top to bottom. Let's go." ...
"Clover definitely talked Cosmo into it," Taemin laughed hearing about what his wife went through with the children. "But they are both menaces."
"Well I don't know who they get it from," Kassia fussed. "I never did anything like this as a kid."
"They're so energetic aren't they?"
"Well I bet you won't find that energy cute when you have to scrub flour from crevices for hours."
Kassia and Taemin had been parents for five years now. Clover and Cosmo, their twins had just turned five. A boy and a girl but they were similar in looks but couldn't be more different in personality.
Clover, their baby girl was more outgoing and the bigger troublemaker; she was always roping Cosmo into her shenanigans. Cosmo was a bit quieter and calmer but, he liked going along with his sister. He was such an adorable child with a very innocent flair to him.
"Maybe Clover needs to put her energy into something productive. What if we get her into sports?"
"Anything so her energy doesn't go into concocting pranks," Alzira nodded putting down her hair brush. "Maybe I'll take her to a kids sports centre this weekend get her to try a few things, see what she likes but... Cosmo will be bored."
"Then, he can just spend some quality time with his old man. Spend time doing something he likes to do." ...
Sometimes, Taemin just looked at his kids in amazement.
When they were born, their hands were so small that they could only hold onto his finger. But now, just five years later, those tiny hands were strong enough to pat down soil properly to grow plants.
He just felt lucky to be a father to two incredible children.
"Daddy, wrat is it gwoing to be?"
"It's an orange tree Cos but, it'll take a few years to grow fruits. It'll be counting on you to help it grow oranges properly."
