After letting the game slip away from them last night, Mike Borkowski and the class of 2016 gets their first taste of Lynah Rink's fury as they play the final game of the weekend against Cornell on Ithaca's East hill. With 17:42 left in the first period, Kyle Baun scored his fourth goal of the season, on the power play to make it 1-0 Colgate. With 11:28 left in the first period, Spiro Goulakos scored his third goal of the season, on the power play to make it 2-0 Raiders. Eric Mihalik and Andy Iles matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 2-0 Hamiltonians lead heading to the second period. Mihalik and Iles matched zeros in the second period so Colgate remains in front by a score of 2-0 heading to the third period. With 9:55 left in the third period, Cole Bardreau scored to make it 2-1 Raiders. With 6:06 left in the third period, Nick D'Agostino scored to tie the game 2-2. Mihalik and Iles matched zeros for the remainder of regulation so 2-2 remains our score and we'll play extra hockey. Mihalik and Iles matched zeros in overtime so we'll skate to a 2-2, overtime tie. Colgate shifted to 4-4-1 on the season and 0-1-1 in ECAC Hockey play.
