After a pretty good individual effort by one Mike Borkowski, Borkowski and the Raiders head to Amherst, Massachusetts play the UMass Minutemen in a two game, weekend series to end the first half of Borkowski's freshman season. With 8:48 left in the first period, Kyle Baun scored his fifth goal of the season, on the power play to make it 1-0 Raiders. With 27 seconds left in the first period, Brandon Gracel scored to tie the game 1-1. Spencer Finney and Kevin Boyle matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 1-1 remains our score heading to period number two. With 17:57 left in the second period, Kyle Baun scored his sixth goal of the season to make it 2-1 Hamiltonians. With 14:10 left in the second period, Tylor Spink scored his fifth goal of the season, on the power play to make it 3-1 Colgate. With 1:03 left in the second period, Tylor Spink scored his sixth goal of the season, on the power play to make it 4-1 Raiders. Mike Borkowski picks up the assist on the Spink power play goal. Finney and Boyle matched zeros for the remainder of the period so Colgate maintains their 4-1 lead heading to the second intermission dressing rooms. With 17:42 left in the third period, Joel Hanley scored to make it 4-2 Hamiltonians. With 14:23 left in the third period, Adam Phillips scored to make it 4-3 Raiders. With 12:08 left in the third period, Jeremy Price scored his fourth goal of the season, short handed to make it 5-3 Colgate. Borkowski makes it a multipoint night by picking up another assist on the goal. With 7:19 left in the third period, Conor Allen scored to make it 5-4 Raiders. With 4:43 left in the third period, Darcy Murphy scored his sixth goal of the season to make it 6-4 Colgate! Spencer Finney finished off the Minutemen and Colgate wins 6-4! Colgate improved to 8-7-2 on the season!
