Charlie Finn and Tomas Sholl matched zeros for the remainder of the period so Bowling Green leads 1-0 heading to the second period. With 12:56 left in the second period, Ben Murphy scored to make it 2-0 Falcons. With 11:34 left in the second period, Brent Tate scored to make it 3-0 BGSU. With 6:04 left in the second period, Bryce Williamson scored to make it 4-0 Bowling Green. The struggling Charlie Finn and Tomas Sholl matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 4-0 Falcons lead heading to the third period. With 15:58 left in the third period, Brent Tate scored to make it 5-0 BGSU. With 7:24 left in the third period, Ben Murphy scored to make it 6-0 Bowling Green. With 4:13 left in the third period, Pierre-Luc Mercier scored to make it 7-0 Falcons. Tomas Sholl finished off the even 20 save shutout and Bowling Green rolls 7-0. Colgate dropped to 2-2-1 on the season.
