After a slow start to the season so far, Mike Borkowski's Raiders head to New Haven, Connecticut to play the Yale University Bulldogs in the "Belly Of The Whale" this evening. With 17:46 left in the first period, Ryan Obuchowski scored to make it 1-0 Yale. Charlie Finn and Alex Lyon matched zeros for the remainder of the period so Yale leads 1-0 heading to the second period. With 11:37 left in the second period, John Hayden scored to make it 2-0 Bulldogs. With 9:40 left in the second period, Charlie Curti scored to make it 3-0 Dawgs. Finn and Lyon matched zeros for the remainder of period number two so Yale continues to lead 3-0 heading to the third period. With 2:41 left in the third period, Ken Citron scored his first goal of the season to make it 3-1 Yale. Alex Lyon finished off the Raiders and Yale wins 3-1. Colgate dropped to 4-8-1 on the season and 1-4-1 in ECAC Hockey play.
