Mike Borkowski was passed on by every single National Hockey League team in the 2013 NHL Draft so the incoming sophomore from Kanata, Ontario will be back in maroon and white this fall. That was sort of surprising to some Raider fans but apparently, Borkowski will be a Raider for a little while longer in his college hockey career. Borkowski is an outstanding player on the ice for a Colgate team trying to get some revenge on one of their ECAC Hockey competitors with a strong season in 2013-14. Time will tell as we approach a new season of the Mike Borkowski tale in Hamilton, New York.

Mike Borkowski will look to solidify his spot in Colgate hockey lore with a strong showing for the rest of his career in CNY as he is thankfully a sophomore this season and Colgate will need more offensive production out of number twenty-one in 2013-14 for a team that has all the potential at their fingertips to succeed at college hockey. Time is of the essence for Mike Borkowski and the Raiders and as I mentioned earlier, the 2013-14 recruiting class is on its way which should shake up the lineup for the maroon and white for the remainder of Borkowski's career.

Author's Note: Mike Borkowski is one of my all time favorite players from Colgate as he was an amazing player for all four years of his tenure. Borkowski was a blessing to see on the Starr Rink playing surface because he gave the Raider fans something to cheer about as he speeds down the ice on a nightly basis in pursuit of scoring a goal. Borkowski is a childhood hero of mine because he was a leader on and off the ice which you'll read about later in this book. Thank you, God bless you and go 'gate!
