After a horrendous loss to Clarkson last Saturday, the Colgate Raiders head to Princeton, New Jersey to play the Princeton Tigers at historic Hobey Baker Rink to flip the calendar to February. With 19 minutes left in the first period, Alex Riche scored to make it 1-0 Princeton. With 13:05 left in the first period, Evan Peterson scored his sixth goal of the season to tie the game 1-1. With 8:53 left in the first period, Eric Robinson scored to make it 2-1 Tigers. With 4:29 left in the first period, Garrett Skrbich scored to make it 3-1 Princeton. Charlie Finn and Colton Phinney matched zeros for the remainder of period number one so 3-1 Princeton leads heading to the second period. With 7:34 left in the second period, Tylor Spink scored his sixth goal of the season, short handed to make it 3-2 Princeton. With 6:06 left in the second period, Max Vorreneau scored to make it 4-2 Tigers. With 1:33 left in the second period, Adam Dauda scored his first goal of the season, on the power play to make it 4-3 Princeton. Finn and Phinney matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 4-3 Tigers we stand heading to the third period. With 18:48 left in the third period, Tyson Spink scored his twelfth goal of the season to tie the game 4-4. With 14:41 left in the third period, Kevin Lough scored his first goal of the season to make it 5-4 Raiders! Charlie Finn finished off the Tigers and Colgate comes from behind and wins 5-4! Colgate improved to 8-18-2 on the season and 4-10-2 in ECAC Hockey play!
