Charlie Finn and Michael Gartieg matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 2-0 in favor of Quinnipiac heading to the second period. With 12:41 left in the second period, Soren Jonzzon scored to make it 3-0 Bobcats. Finn and Gartieg matched zeros for remainder of the period so 3-0 Quinnipiac leads heading to the third period. With 14:37 left in the third period, Landon Smith scored to make it 4-0 Bobcats. With 13:38 left in the third period, Tim Clifton scored to make it 5-0 Quinnipiac. Michael Gartieg finished off the 19 save shutout and Quinnipiac wins 5-0. Colgate dropped to 6-3-0 on the season and 0-1-0 in ECAC Hockey play.
