With 3:36 left in the first period, Gavin Bayreuther scored to tie the game 2-2. With 1:18 left in the first period, Joe Wilson scored his fourth goal of the season to make it 3-2 Hamiltonians. Charlie Finn and Matt Weninger matched zeros for the remainder of the period so a high scoring first period concludes with Colgate leading 3-2. With 7:57 left in the second period, Kyle Baun scored his ninth goal of the season, his second goal of the game and on the power play to make it 4-2 Raiders.
