After a miserable loss last night, the Colgate Raiders head to New Haven, Connecticut to play the defending national champions, the Yale Bulldogs at their building in the form of Ingalls Rink this evening. With 5:44 left in the first period, Nicholas Weberg scored to make it 1-0 Yale. Eric Mihalik and Alex Lyon matched zeros for the remainder of the period so Yale leads 1-0 heading to the second period. With 11:42 left in the second period, Charles Orzetti scored to make it 2-0 Bulldogs. Mihalik and Lyon matched zeros for the remainder of the period so Yale leads 2-0 heading to the third period. With 11:07 left in the third period, Ryan Obutchowski scored to make it 3-0 Bulldogs. With 7:52 left in the third period, Spiro Goulakos scored his fourth goal of the season, on the power play to make it 3-1 in favor of the defending national champs. Mike Borkowski picks up his sixteenth assist of the season on the Goulakos goal. With 41 seconds left in the third period, Gus Young scored to make it 4-1 Bulldogs. Alex Lyon finished off the Raiders and Yale wins 4-1. Colgate dropped to 13-11-3 on the season and 9-5-1 in ECAC Hockey play.
