After a multipoint game from Mister Borkowski a night ago, Mike Borkowski and the Colgate Raiders return to Amherst, Massachusetts to play the UMass Minutemen in the final game before the Christmas break. With 13:54 left in the first period, Adam Phillips scored to make it 1-0 UMass. With 12:05 left in the first period, Kyle Baun scored his seventh goal of the season, on the power play to tie the game 1-1. With 7:19 left in the first period, Branden Gracel scored to make it 2-1 Minutemen. Spencer Finney and Kevin Boyle matched zeros for the remainder of the period so Massachusetts leads 2-1 heading to the second period. With 15:21 left in the third period, Kurtis Bartliff scored his fifth goal of the season to tie the game 2-2. With 10 minutes left in the third period, Tyson Spink scored his fourth goal of the season, on the power play to make it 3-2 Colgate. With 6:29 left in the third period, Billy Rivellini scored his third goal of the season to make it 4-2 Raiders. With 4:08 left in the third period, Kurtis Bartliff scored his sixth goal of the season to make it 5-2 Hamiltonians! Spencer Finney finished off the Minutemen and Colgate sweeps the weekend with a 5-2 victory! Colgate improved to 9-7-2 on the season!
