After an emotional win last night, Mike Borkowski and his Colgate Raiders return to Starr Rink for a Saturday night game against the Skating Saints of St. Lawrence hoping to sweep the north country. With 13:55 left in the first period, Nolan Gluchowski scored to make it 1-0 Saints. With 3:59 left in the first period, Nolan Gluchowski scored to make it 2-0 SLU. Charlie Finn and Kyle Hayton matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 2-0 Skating Saints lead heading to period number two. With 15:56 left in the second period, Evan Peterson scored his third goal of the season, on the power play to make it 2-1 St. Lawrence. With 8:13 left in the second period, Sean McGovern scored to make it 3-1 Skating Saints. With 6:01 left in period number two, Mike Panowyk scored his first goal of the season, on the power play to make it 3-2 Larrys. With 1:55 left in the second period, Mike Borkowski scored his seventh goal of the season, on the power play to tie the game 3-3. Two of the best goalies in the game a couple of years ago matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 3-3 remains our score heading to period number three. With 18:41 left in the third period, Drew Smolcynski scored to make it 4-3 Skating Saints. With 6:21 left in the third period, Woody Hudson scored to make it 5-3 Saints. With 1:06 left in the third period, Gavin Bayreuther scored to make it 6-3 Skating Saints. Kyle Hayton finished off the Raiders and St. Lawrence gets revenge on Colgate by a score of 6-3. Colgate dropped to 5-11-1 on the season and 2-6-1 in ECAC Hockey play.
