After a very important game was won last night, the Colgate Raiders head to Troy,New York to play the RPI Engineers on Saturday night with Borkowski looking for more. With 13:05 left in the first period, Brock Higgs scored to make it 1-0 Engineers. With 10:14 left in the first period, Guy Leboeuf scored to make it 2-0 RPI. Charlie Finn and Scott Diebold matched zeros for the remainder of the period so Rensselaer leads 2-0 heading to the second period. With 18:14 left in the second period, Mark McGowan scored to make it 3-0 RPI. Coach Vaughan pulled Charlie Finn out of the net and so, Spencer Finney filled in for the Raiders in net. With 10:38 left in the second period, Tylor Spink scored his fifth goal of the season, on the power play to make it 3-1 Rensselaer. Mike Borkowski picks up an assist on the power play goal by Tylor Spink. Finney and Diebold matched zeros for the remainder of the period so Colgate trails this game 3-1 after two periods of play in Troy. With 15:39 left in the third period, Ryan Haggerty scored to make it 4-1 RPI. With 14:28 left in the third period, Jacob Laliberte scored to make it 5-1 Engineers. With 7:52 left in the third period, Ryan Haggerty scored to make it 6-1 Rensselaer. With 6:48 left in the third period, Andrew Black scored his third goal of the season to make it 6-2 Engineers. Scott Diebold finished off the Raiders and Rensselaer wins 6-2. Colgate dropped to 4-6-1 on the season and 2-2-0 in ECAC Hockey play.
