It's been four months since we saw Mike Borkowski on the ice with his Colgate teammates and now, they're in the thick of ECAC Hockey play with playoff positioning on the line night in and night out as the Raiders play the Princeton Tigers at Starr Rink this evening. Charlie Finn and Colton Phinney matched zeros in the first period so no score heading to the second period. With 19:07 left in the second period, Joe Wilson scored his eighth goal of the season to make it 1-0 Raiders. Finn and Phinney matched zeros for the remainder of period number two so Colgate maintains their 1-0 lead heading to the second intermission. With 12 seconds left in the third period, Darcy Murphy scored his sixth goal of the season to make it 2-0 Hamiltonians! Mike Borkowski welcomes himself back into the lineup with an assist on the Darcy Murphy goal! Charlie Finn finished off a 19 save shutout and Colgate wins 2-0! Colgate improved to 15-9-3 on the season and 7-5-3 in ECAC Hockey play!
