After never giving up against Cornell last week, the Colgate Raiders head to Hamden, Connecticut to play one of the best teams in college hockey, the Quinnipiac Bobcats at M&T Bank Arena. With 11:52 left in the first period, Russell Goodman scored to make it 1-0 Quinnipiac. With 11:35 left in the first period, Spiro Goulakos scored his fourth goal of the season to tie the game 1-1. With 10:21 left in the first period, Thomas Larkin scored his first goal of the season, on the power play to make it 2-1 Colgate. Eric Mihalik and Eric Hartzell matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 2-1 Raiders it stands heading to the second period. With 2:50 left in the second period, Loren Barron scored to tie the game 2-2. Mihalik and Hartzell matched zeros for the remainder of the period so we remain tied at two heading to the second intermission. With 18:38 left in the third period, Russell Goodman scored to make it 3-2 Bobcats. Eric Hartzell finished off the Raiders and Quinnipiac wins 3-2. Colgate dropped to 4-5-1 on the season and 0-2-1 in ECAC Hockey play.
