Travis' POV

"Taylor." I gently poked the sleeping blonde curled up in my bed and she grumbled something, burying her face further into the pillow. I chuckled. "Taylor, baby girl." I rubbed her shoulder. "Come on, I let you sleep in but we have to go soon."

Taylor didn't move. Ever since finishing tour she'd been loving the fact that she was able to sleep in a little more, and sometimes it was hard to get her out of bed. Normally she didn't have to get up before she wanted to, but today was the first season game of the Chiefs, and her and I were going to watch it together. I'd retired after the last season, but it was still special to me and I was still very involved.

"Baby girl." I shook her gently, amused by the little sound of protest I got in response. "You said you wanted to come with me baby girl and you know I don't mind if you stay home, but you told me to make you get up."

"Ugh." Taylor finally gave in and rolled over, pushing her tousled hair out of her face, blinking sleepily at me. "If I wasn't crazy in love with you Travis Kelce I would be very annoyed right now." She mumbled.

"Well good thing you are." I lifted her hand and kissed her fingers. Taylor grumbled, rubbing her eyes. "I'll get you some coffee okay?" I chuckled. "You just stay here and wake up a little."

Taylor sighed but nodded, wriggling to sit up as I got to my feet. I made her some coffee and toast before bringing it back into the bedroom, and she smiled sweetly at me when I set the plate down in her lap and the mug in her hands, careful she only grabbed it by the handle so she wouldn't burn herself. Taylor leaned over, pressing a sleepy kiss to my lips.

"What would I do without you?" She murmured.

"You would eat and then get ready to go." I told her, tapping the tip of her nose. Taylor giggled, obediently picking up a slice of toast and taking a bite. "Good girl." I kissed her forehead.

I picked out some clothes and got dressed as Taylor ate, and then she went into the bathroom to get ready. She came out ten minutes later, hair half up and secured with a cute little white red bow, wavy and long down her back. She had the slightest amount of makeup on, which I smiled at. Taylor was finally accepting that she didn't need to wear makeup to be beautiful, and she just wore it for herself now, not for anyone else. I was so proud of her.

Taylor got dressed in a little white pleated skirt, a white button down beneath a Chiefs crewneck tucked in slightly so that the collar of her white shirt peeked out at her neck. Then she pulled on a pair of docs, laced them up, and gave me a little spin so I could see her outfit.

"Gorgeous." I smiled at her. "Ready to go?"

"Absolutely." Taylor grabbed her phone, zipping it into the little pocket in her skirt as we headed for the door.

The stadium was packed when we got there, and I got out of the car first to help Taylor. She hadn't wanted to make a big deal out of things as usual so we'd parked in the normal carpark, just close to where a few security guards were. Taylor had requested that, and I'd been happy to do so since it made her feel more normal. I could understand that.

"Nice day." Taylor sighed as I locked the car, and I looked over to see her tilting her face towards the sun, smiling adorably.

"Beautiful." I agreed, gazing at her. Every time I looked at her, I was reminded of how in love I was.

For once, we had decided not to get a box suite to watch the game from. Instead, Taylor and I had boldly bought seats in the stands, letting the stadium know as we'd done so just for security reasons. The area where our seats were had been prepped for extra security, but I knew that the stadium was a safe place, especially during home games. If I even thought for a second Taylor wasn't safe, we'd be gone.
