Travis' POV
The rain pounding down on the roof from outside was giving me a headache, and I sighed to myself as I rubbed my temples. The day had worn on, and it sucked even more that I didn't have Taylor to come and distract me for a few minutes. I knew I couldn't afford to stop working, but the day was dragging.
Flipping the page, I kept going, wiggling my computer's mouse to wake my screen up as I googled something. Then I heard the front door open and lifted my head, wanting to rush down to greet Taylor but knowing I wouldn't sit back down at my desk. And I was behind.
"Baby?" I heard her soft voice call out as the door clicked closed. "God, it's pouring down out there."
"Office doll!" I called back, and I heard her footsteps coming down. Then my office door eased open and Taylor peeked in at me, smiling when she saw me sitting there.
"Oh, you look tired." She sighed, coming over to stand behind me, rubbing her hands over my shoulders. I sighed, sitting back as she massaged gently. "You okay baby?" Taylor murmured, kissing my temple.
"Yeah just busy." I sighed.
"Aw, damn." She pouted with a little huff against my cheekbone.
"What?" I glanced over at her.
"Well I was kind of hoping we might..." Taylor moved to kiss my neck. "Have a little time together before dinner. I missed you today."
"Baby doll I can't." I sighed regretfully. "I just have so much work to do, I can't stop." Taylor let out an unhappy sigh, her hands tightening on my shoulders. "I'm sorry." I turned my head and kissed her fingers. "I wish I could, but I can't stop."
"Not even for ten minutes?" Taylor whined, and I could tell she was a little antsy. We'd both been busy for a few days.
"No." I sighed, but I said it firmly. We had a really strong relationship where we knew how to tell each other no when we needed to, and I was comfortable with that now. I knew Taylor was too, but today she didn't seem to be happy with my answer. Accepting, but not happy.
Pressing a chaste kiss to my cheek, Taylor walked off and left me to it. I sighed to myself as I heard her go down to the kitchen, probably finding something to eat after being busy all day. I tried to focus on my work, but all I wanted to do was go down the hall, grab my girl, throw her down on the nearest surface, and bury myself in her for as long as I possibly could. And that made me crabby, the fact that I couldn't. I was on edge as well.
About ten minutes later, there was a ping from my phone and I sighed, reaching over for it. When I picked it up, I saw that Taylor had send me a picture. Glancing towards the door, I clicked on it and then let out a huff. She'd sent me a picture taken in the mirror, and she was wearing the damn fucking sexiest lingerie she owned. A slightly see through bra that pushed her breasts up, a lacy thong, and a very short dress over the top that was completely mesh, see through. It hid nothing.
Taylor: Come on Daddy, missing a little work isn't that bad. Come play with me
Biting my lip, I put my phone down. She was trying to distract me, and I couldn't let it work. I could tell that Taylor wasn't going to stop, but I had to get more done. She was going to play the brat - I could already tell - until she got what she wanted. My phone pinged again but I ignored it, knowing Taylor was just begging for me to come down and find her. She meant well but I needed to focus.
"Travis, baby!" Taylor asked in a baby voice, hanging onto the doorframe when she appeared a few minutes later.
"Doll I said not now." I sighed. I wanted her, God I did, but if I stopped what I was doing I wouldn't start again. But I also loved that she was pushing for it. We'd talked about boundaries; this was okay. I was torn.
