Travis' POV

The final whistle blew to end the game and I blew out a breath, coming to a stop and looking around. It hadn't been a very interesting game, I'd admit that, and I was kind of glad it was over. We'd won, but it wasn't a very important game. The stands weren't even very full.

We milled around with the other team for a few minutes, chatting with them, clapping each other on the backs. After a while we retreated to the locked room where Andy gave us a little post game talk. Once that was over, we all went to have a shower and change, talking as we did so. We were all a little tired since it was the very start of the season and we were still getting back into things, so it was pretty quiet.

Changed, I left the locker room twenty minutes later to find my Mom waiting outside. There was no sign of Taylor anywhere, and I frowned, a little confused.

"Hey, you guys did great." Mom smiled at me when I came over.

"Thanks, thanks for coming." I rubbed my hand through my hair. "Where's Taylor?"

"Oh, that poor girl." Mom sighed. "She fell asleep in the suite during the game and she's out like a light. I think she's exhausted but she really wanted to come and support you. Your dad's with her."

"Oh okay." I blinked in surprise. It wasn't like Taylor to burn herself out so much that she fell asleep like that. She must be absolutely exhausted. "I'll go see her, could you let security know that we need a back way out? I don't want to wake her up but I don't want to carry her out in front of all those cameras."

Mom nodded, promising to come back up to the suite before she went off to find Taylor's security. I started making my way up to the suite, and when I opened the door I found the room completely empty save for Taylor and my dad. Taylor was passed out, fast asleep curled up in her chair, and dad had tucked his jacket over her. He was sitting nearby, just keeping an eye on her.

"Hey." I whispered, closing the door quietly so I wouldn't wake her. Dad looked up from his phone.

"Hey." He smiled. "That's one tired girl you've got there. She fell asleep about half an hour ago and not a single thing woke her up."

"Not even the crowd?" I asked, and he shook his head as I walked over and crouched down in front of my girlfriend. "Hey baby girl." I murmured, stroking some hair out of her face. "You really are tired huh?"

Poor girl. She'd flown in yesterday from a long week of studio sessions and work, and I knew she was tired but she hadn't let on that she was quite this exhausted. I'd bet my life she'd been absolutely shattered but hadn't told me so she could come to the game to support me. I felt so bad she'd forced herself to not seem tired, and now she'd managed to fall asleep in the stadium.

"I'll leave you two alone." Dad sighed as he got up, putting his phone away. "Take care of that girl okay? She must love you a lot to be that tired and still come here."

"I know." I murmured as I stroked her hair. "I will. And I'll bring your jacket back soon."

Dad nodded, smiling at me before he moved to the door and left us alone. I leaned in and kissed Taylor's cheek softly, just gazing at her while I waited for her security to let me know which way I should take her out. I hoped she'd stay asleep. She looked shattered.

"Oh my baby girl." I shifted closer, sitting on the ground next to her and gazing up into her gorgeous, sleeping face.

About five minutes later, there was a very light knock on the door and a few members of Taylor's security came in. I got up to quietly discuss the best way to get her out of the stadium. I really didn't want to wake Taylor up, so I wanted it to be an easy, quiet way home. I'd skip the dinner we'd planned with the team. They'd understand.
