"Hey Wise girl?"

"Yeah?"

"...The maps upside down."

Annabeth blinked, looked to Percy, and then back at the map she was holding. Well, she was holding one end, Teqi was holding up the other for her since her hand was... not in great shape. The map was huge, despite the town they were trawling through being relatively small.

"Right," Annabeth said, and Teqi helped her turn it the right way around. "Okay, so we have to head in the direction of the castle to find the wine and cheese tasting restaurant. The nurse guy should be around there."

The group set off again, pulling Leo away from the corner shop selling little wooden rocking horses and snails and various things he really didn't need while dodging the occasional pack of sunburnt tourists and artsy locals.

Teqi squinted against the bright sun. It left streaks and spots in her one-eyed vision.

The town was pretty though, all the buildings were rustic colours, bricks and orange rooved buildings that nearly blended into the cliff faces behind the seaside patch of civilisation. It had been carved into the rock itself, in ancient times, and couldn't be seen from mainland. So that the locals could avoid attacks from enemies invading.

At least that's what Annabeth had rambled about while they walked in from the harbour.

Teqi though it just looked like a porcelain bowl of porridge and rust had been turned into a town.

She turned back to look at the Argo II. It stood out, down at the docks, from the little fishing boats leaving for the day and the fancy yachts.

Jason and Hazel were keeping guard down there on deck, probably playing Pokémon. A new town meant a whole new bout of monsters just waiting to sniff them out. The others had gone food shopping though, and Teqi, personally, couldn't wait for fresh bread and watermelon and iced tea and MnMs and all the other things she'd added to the giant list.

The giant warship seemed happy to be somewhere new and less traumatising. Or maybe that was just her.

The air smelt clean and salty and a bit like pollen. And acid/monster breath free. Judging by the hand holding and giggling in front of her, Percy and Annabeth were excited at the prospect of a calmer trip as well.

"We should totally go scuba diving," Leo said, poking her in the side and pointing to the sign advertising it, next to the rusty bike leant against a wall with flowers in its basket.

Her hair wafted around her head, but she sunk with the truck, the chains holding her down. She kicked ferociously, eyes blurry with water, but the air in her lungs wasn't enough to keep her alive long enough to swim to the top.

The door of the truck opened, and a loud hissing sound came from where Keto had been.

"For sure," Teqi said.
