The transfer period is going great. And it's just been two weeks. We still have another week and a half left.

We have signed a few players we had observed prior to the transfer window for the women's team, they are adapting pretty well for now. I have high hopes that we will get promoted to the premier by the end of the season with them.

Regarding the male team, everything is going fine too. We have already signed a few players as well.

However, what we haven't done yet, is closing Mason's transfer from Blackpool. And that doesn't leave my head.

We have a closed agreement with his agent, about the salary, and the contract we are going to offer him.

The problem is, that we still haven't negotiated with his current club, Blackpool. We have to present an offer to them, as Mason obviously can't just run away.

We haven't talked to them yet because we are still thinking about how we are going to do it. Everyone in charge of that club hates me, and Emma, the sports director, knows that Niall is by my side, so she probably would tell her coworkers that I am behind everything if Niall contacted them.

They will not want to sell one of their best players. And if they were to sell him, the club I'm working in would be their last option.

I arrived at the office, like every other morning, and Niall did the same a couple of minutes after me.

"Mornin'." He said when he entered the room.

"Morning." I replied, with a little smile on my face.

"Do you have any new ideas about what to do with Mason?" He asked once he settled into his desk.

"The only thing I know is we have to talk to his agent again sooner than later. And we still don't have great news." I sighed.

"Do ya think Bill could help us?" Niall suggested.

"How?" I asked.

"Maybe he can talk to them. From president to president" Niall said.

"You're right." I realized. "Let's ask him." I said, and stood up from my desk's chair.

"Okay." He chuckled, as he probably didn't expect me to want to do it instantly.

We both left our office to go to Mr Kenwright's. In the hallway, we came across Rachel. Who, as every time I see her here, was carrying that amazing camera she uses to take photos of the players at the training session.

"Good morning." I told her.

"Good morning lovebirds." She said, which made both of us laugh nervously.

"There's more people in this office, Rach." I reminded her, holding my laugh.

"Okay, sorry." She chuckled. "Hi lovebirds." She whispered.
