After the meal, we were all served coffee, and kept talking about the club in general.

I saw a blonde girl from afar that I had never seen before, she was taking photos with an amazing camera.

I was relieved to see a girl actually. I for a while thought I was the only one in the room.

I obviously approached her to introduce myself.

"Hi." I said nervously.

I forgot how bad I am at introducing myself to people I know nothing about. Meeting the players was easier because I knew I just had to talk about the club's goals. But what can I tell her?

"Hi." She smiled and continued taking photos.

"Sorry for disturbing you. My name is Victoria Greenwood." I said.

"Wait, It is you?!" She said, "You are not disturbing at all! My name is Rachel Bennett." She said.

"It is nice to meet you." I said.

"Same, I have been looking forward to meeting you since we were told you were coming here." She smiled. "A woman, finally, I couldn't believe it." She laughed.

"I saw you from there and I couldn't believe there was another woman here either." I laughed as well.

"Right?! It's unbelievable there's no more women here, we are way smarter." Rachel rolled her eyes. "That's why I'm single, men suck." She said proudly.

I let out a small laugh.

"Are you single?" She asked.

"Yeah." I answered.

"Great choice, Vicky." She said, and patted me on the back. "Wait, you are the sports director, right?" She asked.

"Yes, what about you?" I asked.

"I am the club's community manager." She answered.

"That's so cool." I said.

"It sure is. I can't imagine myself in your place." She laughed.

"I can't imagine myself in yours either. I suck at photography." I laughed.

"I think photography is my place in this world, so I went for it. You should find yours. Look at the ones I made today." She offered me to look at her camera.

I moved my head to see her camera roll.

"Wow, you are so good. It definitely is your place." I said, amazed by the great photos she took of us, even though we were just eating.

"Thank you. Wait, that's you! How didn't I notice!" She laughed and pointed at me in one of the photos.

"Hey, I don't look bad at all, I love you." I laughed.

"You will look great in all of them." She assured me.

"Great." I smiled.

"You think you have found your place?" She asked.

"In the world? Well, it is definitely here. Football has always been my passion." I said.

"But?" She said, knowing there was something left in my answer, because of my tone.

"I don't know, I sometimes feel there's something missing. It may sound stupid but I miss home sometimes, maybe that's it." I laughed in embarrassment.

"Don't be ashamed, it's not stupid at all. I left home because mine sucked but you can miss yours." Rachel smiled.

"Thank you." I said.

"And if it is not home what you need to find your place, it will be something else. Life will show it to you like it did to me." She said.
