The rest of the week has passed too quickly. We are traveling to Blackpool tomorrow for our EFL cup match there. It is starting to feel real now, and that is stressing me out.

I told Rachel about the other day that I spent with Niall. She's the only one that I've talked about it with.

After we left work today, I went to have a coffee with her. We always go to the same coffee shop, so the owners know us at this point.

"So you still haven't talked to him about it?" Rachel asked me.

"What do you want me to say?" I asked.

We were talking in a pretty low tone, I don't want the whole place to know about my private life. Even if they don't know who I am, which I hope.

"Hi Niall, I like you so much, maybe?" She said ironically.

"No way." I laughed softly.

"I don't understand honestly. Both of you deserve to find true love, and this might be the chance of your life. But you'll never know that if you don't try." She said.

Rachel has got to know Niall better these last weeks. They get along a lot better now, which I love. Rachel says it is thanks to me, but that is not the important thing. What matters is that it doesn't seem like they don't like each other at all anymore.

"Maybe he doesn't want anything with me." I said, as one of the reasons why I shouldn't just tell Niall that maybe I'm in love with him.

"You've said that a lot of times already, and it's bullshit. I've talked about you with him." Rachel said.

"You've done what?" I asked, and let out a small  nervous laugh.

"I told him I was glad you two got on so well now." She said.

"You told him that I told you about our meal together?" I asked, expecting her to say no.

"No. He ended up telling me himself. I didn't have to bring it up. You should've seen his face while talking about you. He's madly in love." She chuckled after saying that last sentence.

"God, Rach. I don't know what to do." I sighed.

"Just kiss him already." She let out a small laugh.

"Oh, shut up." I laughed nervously.

"Honestly, I hope it ends up happening. You two are such fools for each other. You should hear yourselves trying not to fall so hard for the other. I also think he's perfect for you, and you're the kind of person he needs in his life." She smiled.

"That's cute." I said with a little smile on my face.

"It's the truth." She replied.

That's how we spent the afternoon, talking about our lives and work gossip, while laughing all the time.
