"We should start thinking about going inside there." Horan said after a few minutes of reading the list.

"Okay." I sighed, nervously.

"You alright?" He smiled.

"Yeah, just nervous. I've never been in a place like this before." I told him, a bit embarrassed, as I feel that it is not his first time.

"Oh, that's okay. I'm a bit nervous too." He admitted.

"Then you are hiding it very well."

"If you say so." He chucked.

"To me this feels like one of those things that happen once in a lifetime." I said. "You've done this before, haven't you?"

"Not that many times. Liverpool F.C is something huge for me too. We are not that different." He told me.

"I hope we make no mistakes." I said.

"We won't. You are by my side, and I am by your side. What can go wrong?" He smiled.

"Let's just go in." I chuckled.

We entered the building and the first person we saw was a girl sitting at a desk. I'm guessing she is the receptionist.

"Good morning. What can I do for you two?" She asked us.

"Good morning. We come from Everton F.C. We agreed with your sports director to come here today." I explained.

"Let me check. Niall Horan and Victoria Greenwood?" She asked.

"That's us." Horan answered.

"May I have some sort of ID, please?" She said.

"Of course." We both replied and showed her our IDs.

"Great. Our sports director is in a reunion now but they should be finished in a few minutes. I hope you don't mind waiting." She smiled.

"Of course we don't mind." I told her.

"Thank you for your patience. You have some seats there." She pointed at a waiting room.

"Great, thank you." Horan said, and we both went there.

We sat and waited for a few minutes.

"These people are busy." Horan said.

"I wouldn't be able to have a reunion normally knowing I have people waiting." I said.

"If you are the bigger club that doesn't matter. That's how they are." Horan said.

"I thought that happened to me last year because we were in a lower category. I see that being in the same league doesn't matter." I said.

"It doesn't, especially if they play the champions league." He said.

I negotiated with premier league clubs last year. But not as big as Liverpool F.C. They were always finishing something when I arrived. I don't understand why they don't schedule things better. Don't they have the time?

We haven't been waiting for that long, but I've never made anyone wait a single minute. I've always waited at the door for the person to arrive.

Even though I am in a premier league club now, it feels like nothing has changed in these things. My heart is beating as quickly as it always has while waiting for a negotiation to start. I thought I wouldn't need to be in this situation again. But here we are. Waiting nervously and with sweaty hands.

I chose to not think about all of this because it just going to make things worse. Not everything is going to be like I want it to be. And that 's alright.
