I stayed alone in that room for a couple of minutes, thinking about the conversation we've just had.

Then, I came back to the main dining room, still pretty confused. Rachel saw me and approached me immediately.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

"Yes, yes, thank you." I said nervously.

"I'm going to ask the question differently. What the fuck is wrong with you?" She said, and grabbed my arm, taking us to a corner of the room.

"We should be with everyone." I said.

"You are first telling me what that bitch said to you. I saw you both coming out of that door. And you look so distracted now." She told me.

"She apologized. I don't know if she actually meant it, but she did." I said.

"I wasn't expecting that." She said. "What did you say?"

"I told her I can't just forget everything. She also told me she broke up with Nate, and wants me to help her to 'make him regret it'. She told me we would keep talking. I'm so confused." I explained everything.

"Damn, her opinion changes fast." Rachel chuckled.

"Right? But what should I do? What would you do?" I asked.

"If she texts you, I would answer. You will either solve some problems between you both, or make sure she's never going to change and will be a liar her whole life. You win in both scenarios." She advised me.

"You're right. I'll do that. Thank you Rach." I told her.

"Always, Vicky. Now let's go." She smiled, and we both approached the rest of our coworkers.

I may give Emma a chance in the future. But today, she's still my rival. Maybe she just wants to distract me now, and that's not going to happen.

The rest of the day passed fast, until it was time for the match.

We arrived together at the stadium in the club's bus. Niall sat next to me this time as well. We both fell asleep last time, and wanted to actually spend a trip together, even though this one was pretty short.

Rachel was so excited when I asked her if she minded that I sat with Niall.

She obviously didn't mind, but I still wanted to ask her, to make sure.

Niall's company was exactly what I needed. He was so relaxed while I was too nervous.

The moment I saw the stadium for the first time in months through the bus' window, it felt weird.

But something about it felt like home somehow.

Everyone started getting off the bus once it stopped, but I stayed sat for a couple of minutes, looking at the stadium through the window. Niall just looked at me and didn't say anything. He didn't move either.

Once everyone was entering the stadium, I noticed Zayn was also looking through the window. It was just him, Niall and I inside the bus.

"We should go." Niall said, and stood up from his seat.

"I'll be there in a minute." I said, still looking through the window.

"Same." Zayn said.

Neither of us felt like going inside that place.

"Are you okay?" Niall came closer and whispered to my ear.

"Yes, don't worry. Go, we will catch you in a minute." I told him.
