The moment our lips separated again, was when reality actually sank in for me.

I have just kissed Niall Horan.

"Niall, sorry if I-" I started speaking nervously, but he interrupted me.

"Vic, don't. I've spent weeks, even months, waiting for this moment. Don't you even try to apologize." He told me, with a big smile on his face.

"What? Really? Then why didn't you...?" I asked, surprised.

He then held both my hands with his, and looked me straight in the eyes.

"I didn't want to rush you into anything. Especially after everything you've told me about these last couple of years. I wanted to be sure you actually wanted it, and you were ready to face the consequences. But yeah, I've been dying for your kiss. You caught all my attention from the moment I first saw you next to Bill's door." He explained.

"You haven't left my mind either these past weeks. I'd say months too. I thought about the consequences this can have. It took time, but I've realized that it's not worth it to hide my feelings because of them. In addition, what's life without some fun and risks?" I smiled.

"That's the Victoria I've been wanting to see." He smiled. "I want you to know something else. When we first met, I didn't try to have a good relationship with you because I was afraid of falling for you, and ruining our jobs because of it. I'd never felt this way. I didn't expect it. But with time I've realized that too, who are we to fight the alchemy between us?" He said.

"Let's just forget about the past, and focus on the present, should we?" I said, and wrapped my arms around his neck.

"Sounds like a plan." He smiled and kissed me again. I kissed him back.

"Have you ever been told what a good kisser you are?" He whispered to my ear.

"I could ask the same to you, gentleman." I whispered back. "Let's leave this place before we get caught or someone starts wondering where we are." I smirked after looking around us.

"You just reminded me we're not alone in the world." He chuckled.

I actually related to what he just said. During this few minutes, it felt like it was just him and I. Nothing else mattered.

We walked to the dressing rooms with my arm around his waist and his arm around my shoulders, smiling at each other constantly like we were little kids.

Once we were at the dressing room, we celebrated the victory with Zayn, our players, and the other managers.

At one moment I saw Niall talking to Harry, asking him if he was alright. I assumed that because Harry was moving his knee and showing it to Niall.

Niall's injury still hurts him mentally, which I understand, so he doesn't want any of our players to go through that too.

I obviously don't want any of our players to get injured either, nobody in the club wants it. But Niall gets extra nervous every time any player receives a foul. He has never told me that, but I've seen it.
