A few minutes passed, and I already noticed a difference between the first half and the second.

Blackpool were a lot more defensive. They wanted to keep this result. And we were attacking a lot more. We obviously wanted to change the result.

We are really annoying them. I love that.

I started thinking our goal would arrive eventually if we keep playing like this. All of their players are defending, while all of ours, except one defender, are attacking. They won't be able to keep up with this at some point, I hope.

"We're playing a lot better now." Niall observed.

"We are. Let's hope we score soon." I replied.

Right after I said it, Harry stole the ball from a defender. He managed to shoot even with four defenders around him trying to stop him.

Goal. 1-1.

"Yes!" Niall and I exclaimed, but whispering at the same time, we didn't want to be heard by Blackpool's directives.

Or maybe we did.

Niall and I hugged while sitting on our seats. We haven't wanted a goal so much in a long time.

We also high-fived with Grace and Mr Kenwright, without being too noticeable obviously.

"Thank you Harry." I let out a deep breath.

I have been so nervous during the whole match, especially after their goal, so this was a huge relief.

"We have time for a couple more." Niall whispered, with a smile on his face.

"It would be great." I said.

Even after our goal, Blackpool kept being extra defensive. 1-1 at our stadium was still a good result for them, having in mind the second leg is at their stadium, which is an advantage.

Seems like our players really understood what Niall wanted, since they didn't stop attacking like it was a life or death situation.

However, Blackpool's manager used their substitutions and started bringing more defenders in, making it harder for us.

Zayn didn't sub more forwards in, which is completely understandable. We are not losing, there is no need to risk it all. We also need defenders, just in case.

Minutes kept passing, and it was still their whole team trying to avoid our goal at all costs. They weren't doing anything else.

"How the fuck are they doing it?" Niall commented, in a low tone.

"I don't know, but it is getting frustrating." I replied.

"They will get tired by the 80th minute I hope." He said.

"Hopefully." I sighed.

These matches never fail to make me insanely nervous. We are doing everything to score another goal, and they somehow always manage to avoid it.
