The white light settled down, allowing everyone's vision to return. The Arius Squad had already recuperated some of their strength and gathered around The Pilot. The eldritch monstrosity was gone, and what remained was a weakened woman, standing before the cross.

"My powers...!!!" Beatrice screamed, looking at her hands in despair. She turned to the four with contempt and great hatred in her eyes. "To think I would be done in by the likes of you lowly swine!!!"

"I summon the entirety of my forces here and NOW!" She bellowed into the air and the ground itself rumbled.

"There's more on the way?!" Hiyori panicked.

"Hah... we won't be able to fight them off this time..." Misaki continued.

"Agh..." Saori's breathing was ragged. "Pull yourself together!" She shouted, rousing the other two's spirits. "We need to end this now!!!"

The Pilot, however, kept his silence amidst the three. He gazed upward toward the colorful glasses. Instead of the rumbling of the Justina Council, there was simply... music. A soft tune that could soothe someone's pain away, to make them feel at peace.

Underneath his pale helmet, the man held a minuscule grin.

"This song..."

"Is this..." Misaki hummed. "A Kyrie Eleison...?"

The four noticed that Beatrice trembled. "How dare she play a song of mercy in MY territory?!" Her anger was visible and palpable as her eyes grew brighter. "I destroyed every piece of instrument! How is she doing this?!" She raged on. "A miracle?! NO! Every student must only sing the curses of hatred and contempt!" There were traces of crimson gathering around her once again.

"They must remain in a hell of mutual harm and deception so that WE can exploit them!"

Boom!

Without any warning, a loud crashing sound echoed throughout the hall. Before anyone could react, the Pilot had already rushed forward and slammed Beatrice's face into the ground. He stood over her, tall like the most dangerous mountain to ever exist.

As she kneeled on the ground, her gaze was fixated on him, her face filled with the shock of pain and surprise. Silence reigned once again on the stage. In this very second, there were only the two of them.

In the blink of an eye, it was cold, far, far colder than the worst winter of Kivotos. It felt like the coming of a new ice age. Suddenly, the place turned into a winter wasteland, devoid of any signs of life.
