The sun was shining brightly as Jake, with his usual bright smile prepared for a special outgoing. Aften weeks of being apart due to their busy schedules, he had the chance to reunite with Layla, his beloved dog. Layla had been his faithful companion and Jake had missed her dearly during their hectic activities. Today, he was determined to make the most of their time together.

The others members of Enhypen had eagerly agreed to join Jake on his outgoing, to the park. They were all exited to see Jake's happiness at being reunited with Layla and were looking forward to a day of relaxation and fun.

As they arrived at the parkthe sight of the expansive green field and the crisp air was invigorating. Layla, exited to be outside, wagged her tail enthusiastically as Jake attached her leash. The members laughed and chatted as they walked, with Layla trotting beside Jake, clearly delighted by the change of scenery.

The park was bustling withh famillies and other dogs, making it a vibrant, lively place. Jake decided to let Layla off her leash for a but, knowing she was well-behaved and usually stayed clase. They wandered over to a large open area where Layla could run freely, and the members spread out, enjoying the sunshine and the relaxed atmosphere.

Layla, her tail wagging furiously, took off to chase a butterfly. Jake watched her fondly, his heart swelling with happiness at seeing her so joyful. The other members took the oppotunity to engage in their own activities-- Sunoo and Jungwon were playing a casual game of soccer while Heeseung, Jay and Sunghoon vhatted under a tree, enjoying the peaceful day.

For a moment, everything seemed perfect. Jake's laugher echoed as he watched Layla frolic. But then something caught his eye-- a small playful dog in the distance. Layla ever curious and friendly, noticed the other dog and began to run toward it, her leash trailling behind her.

"Layla wait!", Jake called out but Layka was to focused on the other dog to hear him. The park was busy, and the dogs ran quickly, their play becoming more energetic.

Jake started to jog after Layla, calling her name more urgently. "Layla! Come back!".

The situation quickly turned dire. Layla, in her excitement, darted toward the road thet bordered the park. Jake's heart raced as he relized the danger. He sprinted, his eyes locked on his dog, who was now on the verge of crossing the road. In a split second, Jake saw the truck approaching.

"Layla, no!", Jake sceamed, his voice filled with panic.

But Layla, still focused on the other dogwas oblivious to the oncoming danger, did not stop. The truck's horn blared loudly as it tried to brake, but it was too late. Layla was struck with a sickening thud. The impact threw her into the pavement, and blood splattered around her.

Jake's world seemed to collapse. His heart was in his hazeas he reached Layla's side. He knelt down, his hands trembling, trying to move her gently. The sight was almost to much to bear--Layla was motionless, her eyes closed, and the blood pooling around her. The other members, who had seen the commotion, rushed over, their faces pale with horror.

The oark's security quickly called for an ambulance, and Jake, barely able to process what was happening, followed the paramedics as they transported Layla to the nearest veterinary clinic. His heart was pounding, hus breaths coming in ragged gasps. The members stayed by his side, offering their supportand trying to comfort him, but their own distress was evident.

At the clinic, the minutes felt like hours. Jake paced the waiting room, his mind, a whirlmind of guilt and fear. The vet finally emerged, her expression somber.

"I'm so sorry," she said gently. "Layla didn't survive the accident. The injuries were too severe. She passed away shortly after we arrived."

The words hit Jake like a sledgehammer. He sank into a nearby chair, his entire body going limp. The reality of Layla's death was almost unbearable. Tears streamed down his face as he grappled with the overwhelming grief and guilt.

The members, seing Jake's devastation, tried their best to comfort him. They knew that no words could truly ease his pain, but they were determined to be there for him.

In the days that followed, Jake's sadness deepened. He withdrew from the group, spending most of his time alone in his room. The loss of Layla was like a heavy cloud hanging over him, and he struggled to fing joy or motivation in anything. The members watched with growing concern as Jake's depression seemed to take hold.

Heeseung, Sunoo and the rest of the group decided they needed to interverne. They couldn't stand by and watch their friend suffer alone. They began by gently encouraging Jake to join them in activities, trying to provide distractions and moments of solace.

"We miss you, Jake," Heeseung said one evening, sitting down beside him."We know you're hurting, but he are here for you. We need you too."

Sunoo took a different approach, suggesting small outings and activities to help Jake slowly re-engage with the world."How about we go for a walk or grab some food together? It might help a little."

Jake was reluctant at first, but eventually ageed to join them. The outings were small but they were meaningful. The members made sure to include Jake in their conversations, share stories, and offer gentle encouragement without pressuring him.

As time went on, Jake began to open up about his feelings. He talked about his memories of Layla and the pain of loosing her. The members lithening with empathy and understanding, providing a safe place for Jake to express his greif.

One evening, as they alk sat together, Jake looked at his friends with a hint of gratitude in his eyes. "Thank you for not giving up on me. I know I've been difficult to be around, but I appreciate everything you've done."

"We're a family," Sunghoon said softly. "We support each other, no matter what."

Gradually, Jake started to find some healing. The members continued to be there for him, celebrating small victories and supporting him through the tough moments. Layla's memory remained a cheriched part of his life, and he found ways to honor her trough activities and brought him comfort.

Though the pain of losing Layla never completely faded, Jake learned to carry her memory with him. The experience brough the members closer together and reminded them of the strenght they found in their friendship. They faced the challenges together, and their bond grew stronger through the trials they endured.
