The campsite buzzed with activity as the members of ENHYPEN prepared for their EN-O’Clock camping episode. Laughter echoed through the trees, the scent of fresh air filling their lungs as they busied themselves with setting up tents, gathering supplies, and discussing their plans for the night. The atmosphere was light and fun, a brief escape from the pressures of their hectic schedules.

Jungwon, always eager to contribute, looked around at the group. The campfire would be the centerpiece of their evening, and they needed wood to keep it going. He stepped forward with a bright smile.

“I’ll go find some firewood!” he announced confidently.

The other members nodded, engrossed in their tasks, trusting Jungwon to handle it. He grabbed a small bag, ready to gather as much wood as he could find. The sun was slowly dipping below the horizon, casting an orange glow over the landscape as he headed deeper into the forest.

---

The forest was peaceful at first. The crunch of leaves beneath his boots and the occasional rustle of animals moving in the underbrush accompanied Jungwon as he wandered, collecting branches and logs. He hummed quietly to himself, feeling content in the solitude. But as time passed, he realized he had ventured farther than he intended. The trees grew thicker, their dark shadows blending together, and the distant sound of the camp had faded entirely.

He glanced around, the calm in his chest starting to waver. I’ll just retrace my steps, he thought. But when he pulled out his phone to check the map, his heart skipped a beat—it was almost dead. His battery was at 5%, just enough to see that he was near a river.

"Okay, no problem," he muttered to himself, trying to stay calm. The sun was nearly gone, and the faint chirping of crickets filled the air. He gripped his phone tightly, focusing on finding his way back. But just as he turned toward the direction he thought was camp, his foot caught on an unseen root, sending him stumbling forward.

His phone flew from his hand, skidding across the dirt before tumbling over the edge of the riverbank. “No!” he shouted, running to the edge just in time to see it disappear into the fast-moving current.

Without thinking, he scrambled down the bank, the wet earth sliding beneath his feet. His heart pounded as he reached the edge of the water, eyes frantically scanning the surface for any sign of his phone. It was gone, swept away by the wild, untamed river.

But as he stood there, his body swayed dangerously on the slick rocks. His feet slipped, and before he could catch himself, he tumbled into the freezing water.

The river was relentless, the current strong and unforgiving. Jungwon gasped as the icy water closed around him, dragging him downstream. His body was tossed and turned like a rag doll, his arms flailing as he tried to grab onto anything that could anchor him. The cold seeped into his bones, sapping his strength as he struggled to keep his head above water.

He kicked desperately, his breath coming in shallow gasps. His mind raced with fear—what if he couldn’t get out? What if the river dragged him too far from the camp? He reached out, his fingers catching onto a low-hanging branch, and with a burst of strength, he pulled himself toward the shore.

Coughing and shivering, Jungwon crawled onto the riverbank, collapsing onto the cold ground. His clothes were soaked through, clinging to his skin as the night air bit into him. His whole body trembled violently, the chill from the river making his teeth chatter uncontrollably.

He lay there for a moment, trying to catch his breath. The roar of the river was still loud in his ears, but it was nothing compared to the pounding of his heart. Slowly, painfully, he pushed himself up onto his knees, glancing around. His phone was long gone, and now, without it, he had no way to call the others.
