"Ken, he..." The doctor’s voice cracked, struggling to find the words. The group of friends stood in tense silence, their hearts pounding in their chests.

"He’s dead..." The doctor’s words came out slowly, and he lowered his head, unable to meet their eyes.

It was as if the world had stopped. Stell’s knees buckled as the tears flooded his eyes, his body crumpling to the floor in despair. His sobs filled the hallway, echoing off the cold, sterile walls. Pablo rushed to his side, wrapping his arms around Stell in an attempt to comfort him, but his own tears streamed uncontrollably.

"It’s alright... It’s alright," Pablo whispered, though the words felt hollow even to him.

Stell’s mind flooded with memories, from their moments in Korea to their secretive, obsessive love for each other. Every laugh, every touch, every stolen glance replayed in his head like a cruel reminder of what he’d lost.

By morning, they had no choice but to face the harsh reality. Ken was gone. The group dressed in black, heading to the funeral with heavy hearts. Ken’s body wasn’t allowed to be seen, and his closed coffin stood in the center of the church, a stark reminder of his absence.

Stell approached the coffin, his hand resting on it gently. "You’re so unfair, love," Stell whispered, his voice cracking with grief. "You promised you’d never leave me..."

His tears soaked into the wooden surface, each drop carrying the weight of his pain. Justin, Josh, and Pablo stood beside him, their own grief barely contained.

Justin placed a comforting hand on Stell’s back. "Hey, calm down... He’s in a better place now."

Josh wiped away a tear. "You’re so unfair, Dre. I thought we’d be best buddies forever." His voice shook, but he tried to keep strong.

Pablo forced a small, sad smile. "Stop playing, Dre... wake up," he joked weakly, trying to lighten the heavy atmosphere, but his heart wasn’t in it.

They were about to take their seats when Ken’s mom, Kezil, approached them. Her face, though composed, was filled with sorrow.

"Stell, son, can we talk?" Kezil asked softly.

Stell nodded, and they stepped outside, away from the crowded church. The air outside was cool, a sharp contrast to the warmth inside.

"I know this is devastating for you, son," Kezil began, her voice gentle.

Stell’s face was pale, his eyes red from crying. "Yes, Tita, it is... so much."

Kezil sighed deeply. "He’s in a better place now."

Stell clenched his fists, trying to suppress his grief. "Do you know who... who did this, Tita? Ken deserves justice."

Kezil nodded solemnly. "Yes, son. It was Erica. Her fingerprints were on the knife. She’s in prison now."

Stell’s breath caught in his throat. He knew Erica had been possessive, but he never thought it would come to this.

"Let’s go back inside now," Kezil said, offering him a weak smile.

"Okay, Tita," Stell replied, his voice barely above a whisper.

As the burial began, Stell’s grief overwhelmed him. The moment the dirt began to cover Ken’s coffin, Stell broke down, his wails piercing the air.

"I love you, Ken!" Stell screamed with everything he had, tears streaming down his face as Pablo hugged him tightly.

Ken, the love of his life, was gone. The most precious part of Stell’s world has been ripped away, leaving him shattered and lost.

"I love you too.."
