As we walked away from the grave, lights suddenly flashed, illuminating the dark cemetery. My heart raced as confusion enveloped me. What is happening? I glanced around, searching for the source of the dazzling light show. Then I saw it: the words "Will you marry me?" spelled out in bright, colorful lights, casting a warm glow over everything.

In that moment, I caught sight of a figure emerging from the shadows. Could it be? My heart leaped. It was Ken—my Langga! Alive and well, standing right in front of me. But why this elaborate setup?

As he approached, the world around me faded into the background. He enveloped me in a tight embrace, and for a moment, I melted into his warmth, overwhelmed with emotion. When he pulled back, I turned to see our friends, families, and relatives gathered, their faces lit with joy and excitement.

“What is all this?” I whispered, still in disbelief.

Ken smiled, his eyes sparkling with love and mischief. Then, he sank down on one knee, pulling a small box from his pocket. Is this really happening?

“Forever is the only language our love speaks,” he began, his voice steady yet filled with emotion. “And you are the love of my life.”

I could feel my heart pounding in my chest as he continued, “You’re my partner; you’re my friend; you’re the love of my life. You’re the answer to my questions; you’re the dream that came true. It’s a pure and simple feeling—I love you with all my heart. And that someone loves me, too. No matter where we go, no matter what we do, you are my life. You are my world. You are everything to me. There’s just no one for me but you.”

As he looked deep into my eyes, I felt tears welling up, overwhelmed by the love radiating from him. “I love you, Stell Vestry Tey Ajero. No words could explain how much I love you. Deep inside my heart, brain, and organs, I will forever love you. I promise to stay by your side forever.”

Ken opened the box, revealing a stunning ring that sparkled under the lights.

“Will you, Stell Vestry Tey Ajero, marry me?”

Time stood still. I froze, my mind racing as I processed what was happening. Ken is asking me to marry him.

“Yes! Yes, Ken, I’ll marry you!” I shouted, my voice cracking with emotion.

At that moment, the crowd erupted into applause, a chorus of joy and celebration surrounding us. I jumped into his arms, tears streaming down my cheeks as he held me tightly.

“Stell Vestry Tey A. Suson, see? My last name really fits you,” he chuckled, and we both laughed through our tears.

One Month Later

“Son, you’re getting married!” My mom burst into my hotel room, her face glowing with excitement.

“Yes, Mom! I’m getting married to Ken!” I replied, the words filling me with a warmth that radiated through my entire being. I rushed to her and pulled her into a hug, feeling her joy wash over me.

“I’m so proud of you, Stell,” she said, her voice thick with emotion. “This is such a beautiful time in your life.”

“I can’t wait to see my future husband,” I added, my heart fluttering with anticipation.

As the days passed, the wedding preparations filled our lives with excitement. Finally, the day had come. I stood before the mirror in my hotel room, adjusting my suit one last time. My heart raced as the moment I had long awaited was finally upon me.

With both of my parents by my side, we made our way to the church. How ready I am to be a Suson and to have Ken as my husband.

When we arrived, I took a deep breath, the atmosphere alive with love and happiness. As I stepped inside, I was greeted by the sight of my friends, relatives, and Ken’s family all gathered together. They were waiting for my arrival, their faces beaming with joy.

The doors burst open, and soft music played, filling the church with a gentle melody. I felt a wave of emotions wash over me as I began my walk down the aisle, hand in hand with my parents.

Finally, I stood next to Ken at the altar, his eyes shining with love. It was time!

“Ken Felipe Jhon Suson, are you willing to have Stell Vestry Tey Ajero be your husband?” the pastor asked, and I held my breath.

“Yes, I do,” Ken replied, his voice steady.

“Stell Vestry Tey Ajero, are you willing to have Ken Felipe Jhon Suson as your husband?”

“Yes, I do!” I exclaimed, my heart soaring. It was finally happening!

We kissed, sealing our vows with a passionate embrace, and the church erupted into cheers.

Two Years Later

Life had changed so much since that magical day. Ken and I had created a beautiful family, adopting a girl and a boy who filled our home with laughter and love. Our lives were filled with joy, a testament to the love that had brought us together.

Josh and Justin had also adopted three kids, and they were thriving in their marriage. Pablo, too, had found happiness with his girlfriend, AJ, and they were planning a wedding of their own.

As I sat on the couch with Ken and our kids, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for everything we had built together. Watching our children play brought me immense joy, and I knew that the love Ken and I shared was the foundation of this wonderful life.

“Hey, Stell,” Ken said, wrapping his arms around me from behind. “Look at our beautiful family.”

“Yeah,” I sighed contentedly, leaning back into him. “We’re so lucky, aren’t we?”

“More than we ever imagined,” he replied, planting a soft kiss on my temple.

In that moment, I knew that through all the trials and tribulations, love had conquered everything. And together, we were ready to face whatever the future held, hand in hand, as a family.
