After passing the skeleton swordsmen's camp near the dock area, Luna stopped walking.
Gu Xi planted the Cold Wind Staff into the ground and stood up from the Evil Coffin with its support.
Gu Xi noticed that within just a few days, the dock area had undergone significant changes.
Although the original dock area was close to the riverbank, it still had solid ground.
But now, the area in front of Gu Xi had turned into a maze of canals and streets, resembling not the Victorian City but more like a replica of Venice.
Even behind the skeleton swordsmen's camp, there was a small dock with a few small wooden boats moored there.
"What's going on?"
Gu Xi jumped off the Evil Coffin and looked at Luna. "Is it because of regional linkage?"
"Not entirely. When we brought in the Walrus Graveyard, half of the lake was diverted in, turning the dock area into this."
"Is there no way to revert it?"
"No, the Walrus Graveyard has already integrated. But fortunately, the dock area’s land area remains, and various large and small plots are still here. Additionally, we got a new auxiliary building: small docks where one boat can be moored.
Now, the auxiliary buildings in the city don’t have to be just street lamps."
"Alright, as long as it doesn’t affect the city. So how do we get across now, by boat?"
Gu Xi glanced ahead. The road in front had been washed away by water, and the nearby small boats seemed like mere decorations. Gu Xi didn't think these small boats were functional.
"No need, sir, there's a bridge over there."
Luna pointed in another direction, and Gu Xi noticed a small rustic wooden bridge there.
After crossing the bridge, they entered the dock area that had undergone regional linkage.
The initial area was a dock warehouse composed of many wooden houses.
Before Gu Xi could stop, several people rushed out from the dock.
Leading them was a bald man, but when Gu Xi saw his eyes, he knew this was a zombie.
Behind him was a group of strong zombies, their gray skin making their movements quite peculiar.
"Sir, you've arrived."
"Dock warehouse manager, Cain."
Upon hearing this, Gu Xi understood that this was a core building manager, similar to the Tavern Lady.
He glanced at Cain, and relevant information popped up in his mind.
