Chapter 119: Battlefield Harvest
Like the white-haired warrior, the red-skinned monster with two horns on its head was also torn in half by the Avatar of Death.
There seemed to be no place on this thing's body to store items. The only white baboon skin was used as a loincloth around its waist.
After taking away the white baboon skin, the only useful parts were its flesh and blood.
Gu Xi dismantled the red-skinned monster's body just as he had done with the one-eyed stitched corpse.
However, compared to the one-eyed stitched corpse, the monster's body was clearly a unified whole.
Gu Xi spent quite a bit of time completely dismantling the monster, extracting the horned skull, the nearly five-meter-long spine, a pair of steel-like arms, a red heart the size of half a person, and a mass of lava-like fat.
The remaining flesh and bones, being useless, were all dragged back to Aridowei City by the skeletons to be buried in the evil church as a source of yin energy.
The dismantled parts were of blue quality, indicating that the monster had truly forged its body into a weapon.
[Ghoul Skull (Blue): The skull of a powerful ghoul leader, known for its size and hardness. It can be used to craft shields or defensive armor.]
[Twisted Spine (Blue): The spine of a powerful ghoul leader, with joints that automatically twist and turn. It can be used to craft two-handed swords, whips, or spears.]
[Steel Arms (Blue): A pair of large arms from a powerful ghoul leader. They can be used to create giant stitched corpses or extract metals.]
[Magical Heart (Blue): A heart powered by lava and magic, providing the user with strong mobility.]
[Lava Blood (Blue): Blood that has turned into lava, containing vast amounts of heat and magic. It can be used to enhance machinery or siege weapons.]
Looking at the dismantled items, Gu Xi finally breathed a sigh of relief.
To extract these materials, Gu Xi had put in a lot of effort.
Now that these things were dismantled, Gu Xi didn't know how to handle them.
He waved to the Avatar of Death hovering in the sky, and it landed in front of him.
"See if there's anything you want."
Gu Xi clearly remembered that the Avatar of Death gained the ability to use the disintegrating ray after swallowing an eye from the one-eyed stitched corpse.
Now, unsure of what to do with these materials, he decided to ask if the Avatar of Death needed any of them.
The Avatar of Death glanced at the materials, then transformed into black mist and enveloped the Steel Arms.
It then flew back into the sky, with Gu Xi observing. He noticed the giant steel arms were torn to pieces within the black mist, but the fragments did not fall; they vanished into the mist.
When the Avatar of Death occasionally poked its head out, Gu Xi saw a metallic sheen on its black body.
It seemed the Avatar of Death was metalizing its body.
Gu Xi had to admit that this was a good direction.
However, the Avatar of Death only took one material, leaving the rest to be dealt with.
Gu Xi's gaze shifted to the evil coffin.
"Do you want to take one? See if you can reach blue quality?"
