-Chapter Thirteen- She is obsessed with Jungkook!
Sarah stood there in shock, her breath catching as she witnessed Jungkook kiss Kenzie right after rejecting her. Her whole body shivered as she fisted her hands, glaring at the scene in front of her with bloodshot eyes.
Nearby, Yoongi felt his heart break at the sight. He had never imagined that Jungkook actually saw Kenzie that way. Wasn't Jungkook annoyed by her presence? How could he suddenly be holding her tightly in his arms, kissing her in front of half of Dubai?
Jungkook kissed Kenzie as if he were claiming her, a declaration made loud and clear for all to see.
"Well, I always sensed something between these two from the opening ceremony," Hoseok shrugged, chuckling as he took a sip of his drink.
"Stop it, Hoseok, before I fucking slap you," Jimin groaned in frustration, his gaze fixed on Jungkook and Kenzie, who were still lost in each other's eyes like two star-crossed lovers.
"JK literally ruined my chance with Kenzie," Jimin muttered, exasperation thick in his voice as he folded his arms.
"Bro, you had zero chance with that girl. She only looks in Jungkook's direction. You can see the intimidation and admiration in her eyes for him and only him," Namjoon explained matter-of-factly.
"Well, gladly this assistant girl ruined my birthday," Noah tsked, throwing the knife he had used to cut the cake onto the table. But no one really noticed; they were all too stunned by the display put on by Jungkook and his assistant.
The tension in the air thickened, and whispers began to circulate among the onlookers. Some were shocked, others intrigued, but all captivated by the unexpected turn of events.
"I am fucking doomed," Jungkook sighed running a hand through his hair.
"Should've thought that before you said all those insulting words to me," Kenzie shot back, a smirk playing on her lips.
Jungkook's lips parted in shock as he looked at her. "You? You're taking revenge on me for that?" he asked, incredulous, his voice a low hiss.
Kenzie stepped closer, her lips brushing against his ear. "I certainly just did. Let this be a lesson for you to never mess with Kenzie Zade ever again, or else the consequences are the least expected ones," she exclaimed in a deep, alluring whisper.
"You are playing with the wrong fire, caramel," Jungkook warned, glaring at her.
Instead of backing down, she smiled, letting out a light, angelic laugh. She stepped closer, her thumb caressing the corners of his lips. "My lipstick looks good on your lips," she whispered, the sultry tone in her voice sending shivers down his spine.
"Makes you look like a sinner who just sinned," she exclaimed in a low whisper, her golden-hued eyes locking onto his fierce dark ones.
No matter how her close proximity affected him, Jungkook felt a storm brewing inside. He hated her—hated her daring guts, her wild taunts. He despised how she crossed every limit just to provoke him, culminating in that kiss in front of everyone.
