"You fucking kissed me in front of everyone!" Jungkook snapped, his eyes flashing with anger.
"Yes, and?" she shot back.
"The picture of you forcing your kiss upon me is all over the fucking internet! This has been a fucking scandal for fuck's sake...

-Chapter Thirty- I thought you were different.
Mr. Jeon sat in his study with his mother. Lady Jeon's mood was sour, and he could feel the weight of her displeasure as he poured hot Arabic coffee for her.
"Mother, have some coffee," Mr. Jeon said in a delicate tone, trying to ease the tension.
"Did you see how disrespectful your son has become?" she hissed, her fist tightening around the cup, which didn't go unnoticed by Mr. Jeon.
"What has Jungkook done now, Mother?" he asked, giving her a lazy look, trying to mask his irritation.
"Seriously, William? Your son didn't greet me, didn't bow to me like everyone else does. He was shamelessly holding his wife in his arms in front of me and just walked upstairs without even saying goodnight!" she exclaimed, her voice rising with anger.
"Mother, you saw that his wife was asleep. Of course, he had to carry her upstairs. He couldn't just stand there and chit-chat with you while holding a sleeping woman," Mr. Jeon shrugged, sipping his coffee as if the matter was trivial.
"I still don't get why you married your son to a middle-class girl," she hissed, her frustration boiling over.
"Her tongue is too sharp, her behavior too witty... she is no match for my grandson. Yet you all went against me and announced to the world that she was the new bride! Have you seen the times she has talked back to me!"
Mr. Jeon sighed, setting his cup down. "Mother, Kenzie makes Jungkook happy. Isn't that what matters?"
"Happy? You think she's capable of making him happy?" Lady Jeon scoffed, her tone laced with disbelief. "She's not refined enough for our family. You know how people talk, William."
"Your son needs a woman who embodies grace and decorum, not someone who will embarrass him in public."
Mr. Jeon leaned back in his chair, trying to maintain his composure. "You're judging her without seeing the truth. Kenzie is strong and caring. She challenges Jungkook in ways that will help him grow. He has already been such a good CEO of my company!"
"You're blind. This marriage could tarnish our family's name. You need to reconsider your stance on this," she muttered, folding her arms.
"I will not. Jungkook is an adult, and he chose Kenzie willingly. It's time you accept that," Mr. Jeon stated firmly.
"I will never accept this farce!" she snapped, her voice sharp. "You'll see, William. The consequences of this decision will be dire."
"We've never had some poor girl's blood in our family to carry our legacy. Why did you choose such an ordinary girl for my Jungkook when he deserves no less than a royal blood heiress?" Lady Jeon exclaimed, her tone dripping with disdain.
