-Chapter Twenty Eight- Sit around while I show you off.
Marcella and her siblings were gathered around the movie listings at the cinema, arguing which film to see.
"It was decided that we will watch an animated movie. No horrors, please! I get too scared at night," Marcella whined, her eyes wide with anxiety.
"Well, horror is fun," Noah suggested with a smirk, clearly enjoying Marcella's discomfort. She whined again, shaking her head vigorously.
"Okay, okay! We'll watch an animated movie," Melody chimed in, trying to calm her dramatic little sister.
Just then, Marcella's eyes lit up as she spotted someone familiar. "Mal!" she urged, nearly jumping to her feet.
"What?" Melody asked, still focused on the list of movies.
"Look!" Marcella insisted, pointing excitedly in a direction.
Melody followed her finger and spotted two boys standing at the snack counter. "They're just some boys. Why are you so excited to see them?" she questioned, raising an eyebrow.
"Mal, look carefully! They're Kenzie's brothers!" Marcella exclaimed, practically bouncing on her toes.
"Just what I needed," Noah muttered, rolling his eyes at the sudden shift in Marcella's energy.
Melody shot her little sister a judging look. "And why are you so excited to see her brothers?" she asked.
Marcella's expression turned serious as she licked her lips. "I was just saying that they're here too. Wouldn't it be a shame if we ignored them? Maybe we should invite them to see a movie with us," she suggested, biting her bottom lip.
Melody paused for a moment, eyeing the older one. Indeed, Scott Zade was handsome, and she gulped. He was maybe engaged or committed. She shouldn't be eyeing him like this. However, she finally nodded her head.
"Yeah, maybe we should. After all, they are our sister-in-law's brothers," she mumbled licking her lips.
"Guys, stop it," Noah said, trying to rein them in, but it was too late. Melody and Marcella were already making their way toward the boys.
"Hey!" Melody called as they approached, with Marcella practically bouncing behind her in happiness.
Scott turned around, gasping in surprise when he recognized the girls. "Oh, hi!" he said, smiling widely. "You're Jungkook's younger sister, aren't you?"
"Well, I'm his sister, but I'm the older one. This is Marcella... she's the younger one," Melody chuckled.
Marcella beamed up at Scott, her excitement infectious. "Hi! It's so cool to see you here!" she exclaimed.
