"Yes, and?" she shot back.

-Chapter Thirty Three- She is the diamond tycoon's daughter?
"Sorry I'm late," Noah chuckled, taking his seat. "Oh wow, Jungkook is here with us today!" he exclaimed in surprise.
"How was your school today?" Jungkook asked smiling.
"Good," Noah shrugged.
The awkward silence was heavy in the air. Kenzie chewed her food slowly, lost in her thoughts while Jungkook noticed his grandmother glaring at him and his wife.
"Mom, the food is amazing by the way!" Jungkook praised with a smile.
"You should have tried dinner last night. It was so delicious! Every dish was your favorite, prepared by your wife," Mrs. Jeon smiled.
Jungkook noticed that Mrs. Jeon was smitten with Kenzie again, just like she was at the start. But when she met Kenzie, she started to dislike her. He wondered what had made his mom dislike Kenzie back then, since she had never disliked anyone else.
He hummed and nodded, promising not to miss it next time winking at Kenzie, but she just rolled her eyes.
"There won't be a next time," Kenzie said, while Jungkook casually put his hand on her thigh under the table.
She looked down at his hand, frowning before throwing his hand away. "I will stab you or chop your fingers off if you annoy me further!"
"Wow, you're like a wild animal! I never knew Caramel could be so burning as well."
"Behave you two. There are basic table manners. If you can't respect your elders' presence with your vulgar behavior, at least respect the food," Lady Jeon said.
"Looks like they must have kissed in front of Grandma again," Noah whispered, a mischievous glint in his eye. His mother shot him a disapproving glare.
"By the way, Mom, I'm taking Kenzie with me on the cruise," Jungkook announced, almost dismissing Lady Jeon's words as if he hadn't even heard her.
"And why is that?" Lady Jeon asked, nearly glaring at him.
"Well, if you seem to forget, let me remind you, Grandma. Kenzie was my assistant before I married her. And tonight, I have this crucial meeting, and my current assistant is useless. So, I want my wife to be there to help me, just like she always did," he reasoned with an eyebrow raised.
