"You fucking kissed me in front of everyone!" Jungkook snapped, his eyes flashing with anger.
"Yes, and?" she shot back.
"The picture of you forcing your kiss upon me is all over the fucking internet! This has been a fucking scandal for fuck's sake...

-Chapter Twenty Seven- I didn't ask for this attention.
Kenzie's throat went dry as she looked at Jungkook standing there. Did he hear their conversation? She stole a glance at Mr. Jeon, who looked just as worried as she felt.
"What are you two talking about so secretively?" Jungkook asked, his brow furrowed in doubt.
"Actually, I—" Kenzie began, but she was cut off.
"What are you all talking about right now?" Mrs. Jeon interrupted, stepping into the room. "Breakfast is ready!" she announced brightly.
Relieved, Kenzie rapidly nodded her head and followed her mother-in-law, escaping the tension in the air.
"What was that?" Jungkook asked his father, his expression still puzzled.
"It's about... Kenzie," Mr. Jeon replied in a serious tone, causing Jungkook to frown. "What about her?" he asked, still uncertain.
"Well, now that the world knows Kenzie is your bride..." Mr. Jeon sighed, taking a long pause. Jungkook impatiently looked at his father, urging him to continue.
"There have already been death threats lurking in the air for her," Mr. Jeon revealed, causing Jungkook's eyes to widen in shock.
"But why, Dad?" he asked, his voice laced with concern as he watched his father sit back down on the couch. Jungkook sat next to him, his heart racing. Mr. Jeon's expression was severe as he steepled his fingers.
"You've made enemies, Jungkook," Mr. Jeon said, his voice low and alarming.
"Powerful ones. Business rivals who despised us now see this as an opportunity to strike. And those so-called friends of ours? The ones who wanted their daughters to marry you? They're humiliated because of your marriage to Kenzie."
"Do you think they'll let this slide?" Mr. Jeon pressed, his tone urgent.
"Do you think they will let Kenzie live in peace?" he added, emphasizing the gravity of the situation.
Jungkook clenched his jaw, his fists tightening. "Kenzie has nothing to do with them or their ambitions."
"She has everything to do with it!" Mr. Jeon snapped, turning to face his son. His eyes burned with an intensity that made Jungkook hesitate.
"I mean now... She is your wife, Jungkook. That means she's a target. These people don't just go after you; they'll go after her. You've dragged her into a war she didn't ask for."
Mr. Jeon carefully studied his son's expressions. What he saw was endless care for Kenzie. Jungkook had never shown any kind of emotion for any girl in his life, not even those whom Mr. Jeon had tried to set him up with—business acquaintances, partners, or otherwise.
