"Uh- this is Heimdall," Loki gestures to a man standing in front of us on a raised pedestal, holding a sword into it. He wears gold armour and a helmet, which look like his honey coloured eyes.

"I like your hat," I smile up at him, but he only chuckles. "My name is-"

"Rosie," Heimdall finishes. He notices my shocked expression, "You've come for the royal event."

"Heimdall can see anything and everything he wants to," Loki explains, "He's a gatekeeper. It's useful to know whom wishes to enter Asgard, and their intentions."

"That'd be useful if you lost your keys," I mutter, before taking a look around. We're in a dome-shaped, golden room that glitters and gives me a distorted reflection on the ground. I pull a confused face, "This is Ass Guard? It's very small, and I don't see an ass in sight-" Abruptly, Loki slaps his hand over my mouth.

He gives a nervous smile up at Heimdall, "Eheh-he-he..." He laughs nervously, "She's quite the comedian, yes?"

Heimdall gives him a stare, lifts his sword out of the gold slot, then speaks, "Thor is coming to escort Loki and his guard to the castle. Thor is on his way now."

I pull Loki's hand down, peeping my head up over his arm. "Hey, yeah! I know that guy!" I squeak. Loki winces, but I continue, "I saw him in that book a few times."
I decide not to mention those personal encounters, just in case I accidentally rat Loki out.

Suddenly, supposedly Thor, lands outside a small, doorless pathway from a cross the room that I hadn't noticed before. I smile widely at him as he marches in, directly towards us, but Loki seems to avoid eye contact.

Thor wears silver armour, which I suppose is fancy dress or something, with a long, flowing cape. When he reaches us, he acknowledges my presence with a nod, then turns to Loki and speaks in a low voice.
"Brother..." He rumbles. Loki flicks his eyes up to Thor's blue ones, his hard stare defensive, as if daring Thor to touch him. "... It's good to have you back."

"Okay, I was promised a castle?" I fold my arms, tapping a foot to the ground and interrupting anything Loki was about to say.

Thor lowers his head and chuckles, then looks at me. "And you must be the noble guard, Rosie?"

My chest swells with pride, "Uh-huh! That's me! You're Thor, with the hammer."

He chuckles again, gently holding my hand and kissing it as a greeting. "Welcome to Asgard," he says. I blush, shrugging my shoulders.

Loki clears his throat, looking away awkwardly. "Yes, well... sorry to interrupt this tender moment, but we shall be late if we do not leave soon."

"Ah, yes. Right," Thor turns away, beckoning for us to follow as he strides toward the exit. I walk behind Thor, Loki tailing after.

Just before Loki leaves, Heimdall calls, "Jealousy shall get you nowhere, Laufeyson. Chasing after the impossible is what you're best at."

Loki pauses, "You have nothing to fear," he growls to Heimdall, without turning around. I look over my shoulder, standing in the exit. "I may be a madman, but I am no fool."

I feel like he's just stomped on my chest and laughed. I have no idea why, but that's what it feels like. I bite my lip, spinning abruptly on my heel and trotting out the room, onto a clear, glass like bridge with rainbow specks surging through it. It glows slightly under my feet. "Ooh," I gape as Loki walks up next to me.
