"Why are we going to the cafeteria?" Zoe asks as we gallop down the halls.
I make a dive into the cafeteria doors, pulling Zoe with me as we dodge a horde of changelings that could have killed us if we hadn't moved. We pant loudly as I clamber up from the ground, making a canter towards the counter. "Pick up as many burritos as you can," I order her.
"What for?" Zoe inquires.
"The changelings have a date with burrito sauce and justice."
"No way! I could get killed!" She exclaims.
"Then I guess I'm on my own," I mutter.
"Rosie, fighting changelings with burritos? That's crazy. You might make it worse, and do you remember what Celestia said?" Zoe reasons.
I look from Zoe to the counter. "Alright," I say firmly, trotting over to the window on the other side of the room and ripping off the red curtains.
"What are you doing?" Zoe exclaims.
"Hand me those scissors, will ya? And those ketchup and mustard bottles. Ooh! And see if you can find some sticky tape back there," I say, grabbing the curtain and ripping the fabric into smaller sections.
Zoe raises her non existent eyebrows. "Why?"
"Just do it," I raise my voice only slightly, "The castle is under attack. You'll find out soon enough."
Hesitantly, Zoe goes off and does as I say. Luckily, she finds all the things I asked for. Who knew you could find duct tape in the cafeteria? Anyway, now, with the help of the red curtain, I've cut myself a nice mask that goes over my eyes (with eye holes, of course) that I tie off at the back of my head and created a nice little fabric basket on my back, where I put as many burritos in as I can.
I look myself up and down in the mirror. "It's still a dead giveaway," Zoe says, tapping a hoof on her chin. "I know!" She exclaims all of a sudden and grabs a mustard bottle. "Stay still," she orders as she begins squirting mustard all through my hair.
"Hey!" I cry.
"Now you look like a blonde... Sort of," Zoe comments, as my brown mane still shines through a bit. Mustard is dripping from my hair slowly, but at least it's something. She tapes two bottles, one mustard, one chilli sauce, to my forelegs just above my hooves. "Aim these at their eyes."
"But the burritos... we need a way to keep them hot so they hurt when they hit the enemy," I mutter.
"That's the smartest thing you've said all day," Zoe chuckles as she ties the remainder of the curtain around my neck to make a cape.
"Perfect," I smile at my reflection. Okay, so it looks like I just swam in a burrito. Still. #Fabulous. "But Zoe, I'll still need your help."
"I'll be your back up mare," she says cooly, placing her glowing horn on my forehead. "Now we can communicate telepathically for 20 minutes. Use it wisely. I'll be hiding behind the counter. Go get 'em!"
I suck in a breath and nod. "Let's kick some changeling ass!" I scream, charging out the doors.
I skid on my hooves as I spot a changeling quickly turn a corner. I gallop after it, following it through twists and turns of the halls, flapping my wings making it faster to run. We reach the throne room and I follow it until it goes in through the doors. I press myself up against the wall beside the door and peek in through the cracks. I gasp as my water blue gaze lands on a throne room teeming with changelings, with a taller changeling sitting on what's supposed to be Celestia's throne. "Chrysalis," I hiss under my breath.
