"Loki!" I scream, bursting into the doors with armfuls of food.

He jumps in shock turning his head to me from his seat. "Where have you been? I've nothing to do for all of yesterday. That and I am hungry," he complains, folding his arms, "How am I supposed to entrust that my stay here is a good one?"

"You don't," I answer with sass, flying up to him so I won't drop anything. Still, I manage to drop a yogurt tub and a banana. "You're a prisoner, remember?"

"Are you not supposed to tend to my every need, though?"

"No, I'm not," I answer.

"Is that not what your leader demands?" Loki presses. Is he looking for a fight?

I huff a sigh, "I'm supposed to watch you in case you try anything funny." He raises an eyebrow. I burst out laughing. "Funny enough."

Loki groans, running his hands down his face. "How long have I been in here?" He lets out a half-whine, "Months? Years?"

"Two days," I reply blankly, dumping all the food on the ground and picking up a tub of chocolate pudding. I tear the foil lid thing off with my teeth and spit it in the other direction. Then, ever-so-unattractively, I shove my face into the tub, slurping the pudding as I go.

"You're not even going to use a spoon?" Loki criticises me from his bench.

"Nope," I reply loudly, pulling my snout out of the tub and spraying chocolate pudding everywhere. I look at Loki, then back at the pudding. Then back at him. "You want some?"

He curls his lip up at me. "It's not like you haven't been giving me exquisite fine dining options," Loki answers sarcastically, "But I'll have to say no." His stomach growls in protest and he puts a hand on it. "That was, uh... nothing."

"You sure? Equestrian pudding is really addictive," I try to say enticingly, but Loki turns his nose up at me. I shrug and lick the pudding from my lips. "Alright, your choice. It's probably for the best. This stuff's like weed if you have too much. You sure you don't want anything else I've brought?" I wave my hoof in the direction of the pile of food I scavenged for.

Loki gives an interested glance and stands up, walking over to the edge of the glass and kneeling down to look. "All these things are packaged or wrapped in plastic," he complains.

"Hey! I think there' some gum in there from under a table top," I defend. "Besides, I had to break into a shop in Midgard to get those."

"You stole this?" He looks at me shocked.

"Borrowed," I correct.

"Permanently."

"Exactly!" I point to him. He rolls his eyes, but still looks at the food. "I think there's another pudding in there if you want me to look."

"And how exactly did you get into Midgard?" Loki says blankly.

"Well, I didn't. I got Zoe to do it. She's good at magic," I explain.

"Who's Zoe?" He lifts his gaze to me.

"We've been best friends since we were kids," I answer enthusiastically. "When she found me-"

"You have friends?" He snorts.

I pull a scrunchy face. "J-just one!"

"How much of it do you want me to have? The food, I mean," Loki interrupts, dropping the subject of Zoe.

"As much as you like. At least I'll know I didn't go to all that trouble for nothing," I shrug, flapping over to the control box, my eye catching the red button.
I guess, since I couldn't get into Asgard, I'd get food from a place similar to it. Just, you know, an attempt to make Loki feel more at home. Maybe then we could be friends.
