I adjust my white collar, which is imitating feathers. Zoe's style choice, in my opinion, was pretty awesome. I'm wearing a short dress with a blue top and plain orange bottom, with a white frills on the collar and short sleeves to imitate feathers or wings. My red boots also have the same, with white heels that have blue swirls on them.
Zoe taps her chin and squints at me. "It doesn't seem... complete," she mutters, turning to my wardrobe and looking for something. "Ooh! This'll be perfect!" She exclaims, pulling out some red ribbon, "And with a little bit of makeup..."
My eyes widen. "No, no makeup!" I say warily, stepping back.
"C'mon!" She whines, stepping forward with the ribbon.
"Nooooo!" I scream, making a mad dash for the door, but am stopped abruptly by Zoe's magic. I try to kick and scream under her restraint, but it proves worthless. I growl. "Stupid unicorn magic."
Zoe giggles as she materialises some purple eyeshadow and mascara and applies it to my face. She ties some red ribbon into a little bow in my hair. She releases me carefully in front of the mirror and I scowl at my reflection. "You look cute," she says, trying to make me feel better.
"I look ridiculous," I complain, slumping down and crossing my arms, "I looked better without makeup."
"Oh, come on! It's only eyeshadow. You won't even notice it's on," Zoe says, adjusting her small top hat.
Unlike me, she looked totally awesome with makeup and had black eyeliner and mascara on. She was wearing a long, navy blue dress with a sparkly purple belt and small stars at the hem.
I roll my eyes. "Is it almost time to go?" I inquire.
Zoe glances at my alarm clock. "Five minutes!" She replies, and we both do a girly squee. "We're going to be the best looking ones out there!"
Suddenly, a grey unicorn guard burst in through the doors. "Rosie and guest, I am afraid Princess Celestia won't be able to make it to the event tonight," he tells us.
"WHAT?!" I shout, "Why not?"
"Nightmare Moon has unexpectedly returned and-"
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, didn't ask for your life story," I interrupt and dismiss him, before turning to Zoe with a worried look.
"What are we gonna do?" Zoe cries, "Celestia has the tickets."
"Wait, I know who could come!" I exclaim.
"Who?"
"Loki!" I cheer triumphantly, dashing out the room and down the hallway.
"Who?" Zoe says, chasing after me.
"You know, Loki!" I open the large doors to Loki's room. The man himself is sitting on the bench, bored out of his wits. His head snaps up to me. "Loki!" I exclaim, "We need you."
"For what?" Loki inquires, standing up.
Zoe pokes her head into the room. "Who is that?" They ask in unison.
"What? How could you have forgotten? We went trick or treating and... Urgh, Zoe, Loki, Loki, Zoe. Loki, come with us," I say quickly, rushing over to the control box and slamming my hoof on the green button.
The doors hiss open and both Zoe and Loki look at me in bewilderment. However, Loki decides not to question and walks briskly out, heading in a direct beeline towards the open door.
"Oh, no you don't," I call, gesturing to Zoe. Zoe smirks and her horn glows, trapping Loki in her magic. "You're coming with us."
"Let me go!" Loki yells between clenched teeth.
