75. Helping Two Demon Lords

Rimuru's POV

After dealing with so much shit I thought I'd stop all bodily functions I finally went to help Dagruel. I did after all promise to help him repair his destroyed land. Luckily after I arrived he welcomed me with open arms. After the short greetings he brought me to a room full of high density ores and other high energy items filled with energy. It was so much that he even told me monsters sometimes spawned from the leaking magicules stored there. When I got to the center of the room however I came to find that a female giant had been stored in the room as well. She was frozen in a magical ice that kept her in stasis.

I then looked over to Dagruel with a questioning look where he answered honestly.

Dagruel- "She's my wife. She would have died anyway due to reasons I'd rather not get into. After hearing about my deal with you she asked to be the sacrifice that was needed to restore the country as a whole."

Rimuru- "Hmm. If I had a way to save her from her.... Condition. Would you have chosen someone else then?"

Dagruel- "Can you truly help Kisara?" He asked with hope in his voice. More than I'd ever heard before.

Rimuru- "Ciel what is her condition?"

Ciel- "Her current condition is in a near death state due to multiple child births as a spiritual being. Her magicule count can no longer hold her existence together. Helping her recover is possible."

Rimuru- "Ok, so how do we help her then?"

Ciel- "We just need to give her enough energy to recover herself along with a blessing of the void from you dear or someone connected to you by a name."

Rimuru- "Huh?"

Ciel- "Would you like to grant the blessing of the void to individual Kisara?"

Yes. No.

Hmmm. I'll ask Dagruel first since it is his wife after all. But first I'd like to know why it has to be my blessing or someone close to me and not someone else's.

Rimuru- "Ciel. Why did you suggest my blessing?"

Ciel- "All beings that are connected to you have been able to reproduce without losing magicules. Mariagold is proof of this being the case along with past Benimaru. When those who have your blessing can't produce enough energy to birth their child they take it from you as compensation. But since you have a near infinite amount of energy to pull from it's a minor problem for you."

Rimuru- "So I'm the reason Benimaru didn't lose any strength back then. But do we even have enough energy to repair Dagruel's nation here?"

Ciel- "From current estimates we have more than enough. Maybe even too much."

Rimuru- "Will it cause issues to have too much?"

Ciel- "Negative. You can just absorb the excess energy if need be."

Well alright then. Time to get Dagruels answer then.

Rimuru- "I can but I'd need to give her my blessing to do so. Does that work for you?"

Dagruel- "Hmmm. Explain in detail. I'll decide from there."

He seems cautious. Likely because I've been slowly, if unintentionally, taking over all of the demon lords on the council. He must think there is a possibility I'm trying to control his kingdom behind the scenes. Luckily for him I'm not so I just give him the answer straight like Ciel did for me already.
