As the days went on, Jimin found himself caught between the love he had for Yoongi and the deep-rooted loyalty he felt toward his family. Despite their best efforts, his parents simply couldn't accept the relationship. Every conversation with them seemed to add more weight to Jimin's shoulders, and it started to take a toll on his relationship with Yoongi.

At first, it was small things—Yoongi would notice how distracted Jimin was during their time together, or how he would tense up whenever his phone buzzed. But over time, the strain became more obvious.

One evening, after another frustrating call with his parents, Jimin sat on the couch in their shared living room, his mind spinning with everything they had said. Yoongi sat beside him, his arm resting on the back of the couch, but the tension between them was thick.

"You okay?" Yoongi asked quietly, already knowing the answer.

Jimin sighed deeply, running a hand through his hair. "I don’t know. My parents... they just keep pushing. They want me to meet that guy next week."

Yoongi’s jaw clenched at the mention of it, but he tried to stay calm. "And what did you say?"

"I told them no, of course," Jimin replied, frustration evident in his voice. "But they won’t let it go. They keep saying it’s for the best, that I’ll regret choosing otherwise."

Yoongi leaned forward, his elbows resting on his knees as he let out a deep breath. "Jimin, I’m trying really hard here to be patient. But how long are we going to keep doing this? How long are you going to keep letting them dictate everything?"

Jimin flinched at Yoongi’s words, feeling a sting of guilt rise in his chest. "You think I want this?" he shot back. "I’m doing everything I can to make them understand. But they’re my parents, Yoongi. I can’t just walk away from them."

"I’m not asking you to walk away from them," Yoongi said, his voice rising slightly. "I’m asking you to stand up for yourself—for us. Because right now, it feels like we’re just waiting for your parents to decide our future."

Jimin stood up, frustration boiling over. "You think I don’t know that? You think I don’t feel like I’m being torn in two every single day?" His voice cracked as the emotions he had been holding in for so long started to spill out. "I’m trying to keep everyone happy, but it’s not working, and I don’t know what to do."

Yoongi stood as well, his eyes filled with a mixture of frustration and hurt. "Jimin, I get that this is hard for you. But it’s hard for me too. I’m here, waiting, not knowing if you’re going to choose me or them."

Jimin’s breath hitched, his eyes searching Yoongi’s. "I’m not choosing between you and them," he said, his voice trembling. "I love you, Yoongi. But my parents... they’ve been there for me my whole life. I owe them everything."

"And what about us?" Yoongi asked, his voice softening slightly. "Don’t we deserve to be happy too? Don’t we deserve to have a future without all this hanging over our heads?"

Jimin looked away, tears threatening to fall. "I don’t know how to fix this," he whispered.

For a moment, there was silence between them, the weight of the situation pressing down on them both. Yoongi reached out, gently turning Jimin to face him. "Hey," he said softly, his thumb brushing against Jimin’s cheek. "I’m not asking you to have all the answers right now. But I need to know that you’re willing to fight for us. Because I can’t keep fighting alone."

Jimin looked up at Yoongi, his heart aching at the vulnerability in his voice. "I’m trying," he whispered, his voice thick with emotion. "I don’t want to lose you."

Yoongi pulled him into a tight embrace, holding him as if he never wanted to let go. "Then we’ll figure this out," he murmured against Jimin’s hair. "No matter what happens, I’m not giving up on you."

Jimin buried his face in Yoongi’s chest, feeling the warmth and comfort of his embrace. But even as they stood there, wrapped in each other’s arms, the weight of the situation remained. The love between them was strong, but so were the forces pulling them apart.

As the days passed, the tension continued to build. Jimin's parents became more insistent, sending him messages and even showing up unannounced at their mansion. The pressure weighed heavily on Jimin, and the stress started to seep into his relationship with Yoongi. Little things—small disagreements, misunderstandings—began to escalate into arguments.

One evening, after a particularly heated argument about something trivial, Yoongi stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind him. Jimin stood there, his chest heaving, feeling the sharp sting of their fight. He wanted to scream, to let out all the frustration that had been building up inside him for weeks.

But instead, he sank down onto the bed, feeling utterly defeated.

Later that night, Yoongi returned, his expression softened but still weary. He sat down beside Jimin, not saying a word for a while. The silence between them was heavy, filled with unspoken fears and uncertainties.

“I’m sorry,” Yoongi finally said, his voice barely above a whisper. “I shouldn’t have walked out like that.”

Jimin shook his head, wiping at his eyes. “No... I’m the one who should apologize. I just... I don’t know how to handle all of this.”

Yoongi took Jimin’s hand, squeezing it gently. “We’re both trying. And it’s hard. But I’m not going anywhere, okay? No matter how tough it gets.”

Jimin nodded, leaning his head on Yoongi’s shoulder. "I just wish it didn’t have to be this way."

Yoongi pressed a soft kiss to Jimin’s temple, holding him close. "Me too. But we’ll get through it. Together."

As they sat there in the quiet of their room, wrapped in each other’s arms, they both knew the road ahead would be long and difficult. But for now, they had each other, and that was enough to keep them going.
